So I wanna buy a helix bowl/spoon. I want something that will give me some smooth rips but I don't want any water pipes because the bubbling water can be loud sometimes and I don't want anyone to hear me soo..my question is Do Helix Bowls Work? I've seen vids and they look amazing. I like that helix combo pipe thing where u can combine all the different glass parts to make a different type of pipe.
They give you one massive hit that is for sure ... it really hits you hard but it's hard to tell if it really works because it's such a big hit it will hurt haha that is my experience . I too have been eager to try one. I've been told that the smoke cooling and all that stuff actually works but you have to know how to hit it. The company, Grav Labs, makes pretty unique stuff. They are now coming out with a Helix Vape Pen
I own 4 helix's, all 3 of their classic spoons from mini to xl and the overpriced showerhead helix bubbler, the one thats not the 3 in 1 set, they are hands down one of the best functional dry spoons out there (typhoon pieces are equivalent) for getting massive rips that are always smooth. the tornado effect beyond looking awesome actually helps to preserve the bud in the bowl while also cooling the smoke down allowing for much bigger hits, I like to think of it as a supercharged pipe. The bubbler is kind of iffy, you must have a perfect water level for all the percs to work unlike grav labs other bubblers but when it works it definitely makes for the smoothest best tasting hits you can get from a bubbler. Also when hitting a helix to get the tornado effect you have to hit the pipe at a slow enough rate so that the air flow from the 3 holes and the bowl hit a like equilibrium, hit it too hard and the increased flow from the bowl will overflow the spin chamber masking the tornado effect; every hit you take will be cooled from the added airflow even if it doesnt make the tornado.

My buddy had one with a 3 gram bowl, not even kidding. Fucking MASSIVE. Not Helix brand but the same concept. It was soooo smooth.
I have one with the one hitter, spoon, and bubbler attachment. It's become my favorite piece. I also have their beaker bottom bong with the helix built in to the middle on the piece instead of the mouth piece and it came with an attachment for the bowl as well. Would highly recommend. Now if you excuse me, I'm gonna go research more on this vape pen they are coming out with
