Whenever both me and that person want to have sex. I think that's a good average, taking into consideration that sex isn't "normal" or "average" for everyone or even something that's a part of life at all for them.
It depends on the people having sex, of course. My boyfriend and I aren't getting enough, because we both have dorm roommates. My roommate in particular will clock block us, and not answer me when I ask when she plans to come back to the room. It is very annoying.
