Vans Warped Tour

    Anyone ever been? Anyone going to this years warped tour? I've gone probably 5 times and soon to be 6th this year. I am happy to see a few more heavy bands playing this year.Can't wait to see Born of Osiris! I wish Sublime(with rome) would come again(they were there like 2 years ago) Even without Bradley it was insane.
     
    But here's a link of bands if you were on the edge of going or not. Hope to see a few other stoners there. It's always fun to smoke a few bowls then mosh in the pits.
     
    For those of you who may have just clicked this thread and have no idea what Vans Warped Tour is, will it is basically a giant music festival that goes on from 10amish to midnight generally. Lots of bands and genres ranging from rock,reggae, deathcore, to rap.

    I'm going with a couple of friends. Loving that they added some heavier bands too.

    I went to the Portland Warped about 4 years ago and it was awesome! Definitely take water and wear comfortable shoes! I recommend taking some bud with you too. It's an awesome experience because the bands bring their best and the fans are amazing.

    I went in 2010 because I won tickets for donating blood. I had pretty much stopped listening to the emo/screamo at that point, but it was fo free so I went anyway and had fun.
    I love music festivals and I really enjoyed the reggae bands playing that day so it was a pretty good experience even though I didn't know any of the bands prior to that day ha.
     
    tl;dr music festivals are fun and you should go to as many as possible

    last time i went was 2005....it was alright but it's definitely not what it used to be. the line ups usually suck now days. it was really cool in 98-99

    I haven't checked the lineup for this year but recently the bands kinda suck. Last year had TBDM though which was cool. Honestly I'd go for the scene girls, if they do the look right they're sexy af.

    It is different. They used to have more of a punk/hardcore line up but now it's more post-hardcore/metalcore. I am glad they are having  few more Deathcore bands this year.

    Yeah i sadly must agree. I am 20 and still like the scene look on girls haha oh well.

    Yeah it is fun and it's always good to try out new music. Also at 40 dollars a ticket, 12 hours of music is great.
