  1. just fed the big plant some FF trio yesterday. Used 1/4 strength. big plant has very dark green almost black coloring and other side is rusty. Seedling also has little grayish spots on it but i didn't feed it any nutes. any ideas? :/

Overwatering..don't water them until the soil is completely dry, it's easy to tell by the weight of the pots

Oh you got nute burn too... ffof already has nutes in it, so they don't need any nutes until the 2nd-3rd week..some people wait even longer

The spots on the seedling I wouldn't worry about..but you can transplant now

  3. so all that is just by overwatering? i thought it was maybe nute burn or something, thanks for the heads up!

  5.
Are you using fox farm soil?

  6. actually no, just some organic stuff i picked up at lowes. well, supposedly organic. i did feed it the fox farm trio though. like 1ml of Grow Big and 2ml of the Big Bloom per gal. i just gave it maybe 1/2 a gallon though bc it was reallyyyy dry.

  7. nute burn.. are you using FF ocean forest soil.. thats what I use and it was a lot of nutes in it already, I cut it with perlite like 70/30..

you dont need to give them extra nutes for awhile.. and when you start you can go even less then 1/4 strength and work your way up

make sure you let the soil dry out completely before watering again, the roots need air to grow so dont drown them.. and dont worry so much about nutes let the girls do their thing dont force it

half gallon is too much for that plant..I use about 2 gallons to water 12-13 plants at that stage

and see what the soil mix has in it..if it's peat moss you should add some lime to your final pot to buffer the ph (about 1tbsp per gallon of soil)..prevents any ph problems later in the grow

what was the brand of soil was it... might have a lot of nutes for your babies to handle
