    Hello all - Personally, I am not a pot user - but I do live currently in Colorado.

    Given the shortage at times in the stores that are open;
    ..has anyone thought about using a commercial Evaporator to dry pot?

    Evaporators are used in many industries such as, the food industry [maple], waste-water treatment, etc..

    I would think any commercial evaporator would work to dry pot..!?

    An evaporator is just really a distiller, but it distills the moisture out, leaving a redused content or sludge-waste. It heats via a refridgeration unit creating heat, rather than using expensive electic-sucking heat elements.

    Are there any opinions here?

    regards,  Dave

  2. you shouldnt dry them quick if you have the chance .  this will be fine but you should cure it for atlease 2 weeks in a jar or somthing of equal value ( to make it more air proof but easy to open) . your going to loose alot of people who like your weed, people hate weed that tastes like hay take it from me . would you pay 10$ for shitty smelling and tasting weed that barely gets you high, or would you rather smoke somthing that tastes great and is very smooth and smells great for the same price?

  3. I have a name for people who quick dry so they can sell sooner.
    ASSHOLES.
    That thing will ruin your bud for smoking. may be ok just for oil production but I would not do it.

    Twas Ever Thus!

  4. This is not a good thing like people have already said, all you need to do is hang in the dark with air movement, a filter if needed and when buds are ready they go in air tight jars to cure.

  5. Glad I found your post! I was following a GC members guidelines on drying and then a friend told me that doing the paper bag/shredded lunch sacks sucks the THC from the buds. True or false? I want the BEST product I can produce! I am a noob, so would appreciate the input! Thanks!  :gc_rocks:
