First Time Edibles-Would Love Some Advice.

    Okay so me and 3 other of my friends are planning to make edibles, because our one friend loves to get high, but has such severe asthma/throat problems that she hasn't been able to enjoy it. We have about 3g and are planning to make about half a box of brownie mix worth (6-8 brownies). That means we will be using about 1/4 of a cup (4 tablespoons) of vegetable oil when extracting the THC. We are all pretty much light weights, as I have the highest tolerance and 1 large gb hit of okay stuff is enough for me to get very high. We are using pretty good bud, but I was wondering if we have enough or if we are using the best extraction method/way to make oil. Thanks for the help.

    Decarb ground weed 220-240F for 20-30 min wraped airtight in aluminum foil. Cook for 45 min in extra virgin coconut oil covered tightly @220 cool then freeze. Defrost, cook again covered tightly for 45 min @ 220. Then use it in your box mix or scratch. I use this method with one box of brownies that call for 1/4 or 1/3 of a cup of oil with 7g. People have totally greened out thinking that a 7gs is not enough. Basically following BKS recipe in the above stickie. Never fails ever.

    Correct me if I am wrong, but the BKS recipe calls for the second heating of 45 minutes directly after the first heating of 45 minutes after you smash up the herb? Just wanna make sure I am doing it right as I am doing it right now haha

    Yes the freeze helps increase bio availability! Been sampling all day happy 420
