Dodge has the best towing capability. They are well made. But they get shitty MPG because they weight so god damn much. Ford comes in Second. Chevy 3rd(they always seem to rattle). Toyota,Nissan, all are eh.

If we were talking Cars Dodge>Chevy>Ford

Nothing like some big block MOPAR or an LS series Chevy.

  5. Toyota will soon be offering a twin turbo diesel v8 in the US market. and i think you can get a small diesel v6 in the Ram 1500. kind of like the Dodge Sprinter series.

  6. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So that is subjective.  I think Chevy makes a better motor then Ford, but Ford makes a better truck. Chevys (trucks) always seem to rattle and really not well put together from my experiences. But like I said, if we were talking cars Chevy > Ford. But there is still nothing like some big block mopar

  7. Since we're talking trucks, Dodge, no question. A Cummins is hard to beat :smoke: miss my old Ram....

  8. Diesel- dodge, Chevy, ford

    Gas pickup- Chevy, dodge, ford

    Cars- Chevy, ford, dodge.

I'm not a fan of ford interiors apart from the new platinum trucks and their engines aren't the best.

Dodge engines are good but to me it's the little things that Chrysler neglects. After having it for 3 years the windows stop rolling up the auto locks are faulty and their oil pans for all the chargers and 300s are all prone to leaking.

Chevy in my opinion makes the best all around vehicle.

  9. Dodge trannys suck if you pick up an automatic honestly, and alot of how a truck performs and lasts/wears has alot to do with the driver and owner, A well taken care of vehicle will always be good to you

  10. My choice would change depending on what I want the truck for

For towing I'd get a Chevy turbo diesel
For looks and interior I'd get a dodge
    For mudding a Toyota
And I've been driving around my sisters f150 ecoboost the last couple weeks. I've never really been a big fan of ford, but the tt v6 is nice around the city

  11. My dad has his Dodge since 96, automatic, doesn't really take care of it at all. The tranny is still kicking.

  12. Yea well your dad got lucky haha idc what anyone says, I work around cars daily, from dodge, Ford, Chevy, to porche, ferrari and Audi and I've never seen more cars from a brand with fucked up tranny's.

  13. Honestly I think dodge has the best towing too but there too big.
A Chevy can pretty much get anything done never had any problem, After all its not about brute strength of the truck but ford is just complete shit all ford truck that I've had 2005- now have all broke down and same with the cars.

  14. hemi destroys vortec....cummings destroys duramax...also options for 28mpg 8speed and air suspension....

dodge trucks - only serious answer

should have maybe mentioned my grandpa used to be a dodge truck dealer   :)

  15. Well like I said, over all Dodge makes the best trucks. They can tow the most, they last, they have decent interior/exterior, but shitty MPG because of the shear size/weight. So if MPG doesn't matter go Dodge.

  16. Ford or die .

  17. Cummins or nothing.

  18. Toyota last forever. But if i wanted towing capacity i would choose a domestic.

  19. F350 turbo diesel, tow package of course
