What Age Is One Considered A Seasoned Toker?

  1. I'm 30 and been smoking for 16years, Everyday for 14years and also grown my fair share of outdoor. In my eyes I'm a seasoned toker but I'd like to know what you guys think?

  2. Age doesn't matter, just how many years you have been smoking. A lot of people say they have been smoking since they were like 13 haha. But i'd say at least 5 years of smoking.

  3. I believe that the experience and knowledge one has matters more than the time they have been doing that particular thing/activity.

  4. How long is a factor, but i think its mostly knowledge and experience that really matters. I have only been smoking for 2 1/2 years, but i am a medical patient in California and would consider myself a "seasoned toker" and a connoisseur of marijuana. I have put hours of research into learning about the plant and have been to exposed to pounds and pounds of top shelf buds, been to tons of events such as hempfest and the cannabis cup, and have visited over 50 collectives in the LA area. I think i can consider myself a seasoned toker at this point.

  5. I've been smoking for over 2 years but I do my research and I think I know enough about the plant, effects, and toking tools in order to consider myself "seasoned"

Like I personally don't get a lot of the threads on the seasoned toker section about toking for 2+ years daily and "HELP I MY HIGHS AREN'T AS GOOD" like no shit. That's what happens. Learn to either smoke more efficiently to lower your tolerance or take a t break. I think the "smoke more/better weed" is an immature solution and will always result in the person having to find stronger weed and smoking more.

4years atleast IMO, something just take time and you cant just look it up on the intrawebz

  7. ^^Totally agree! Take a t break,or lower consumption. Every couple weeks I have to lower my tolerance as my conditions necessitate I medicate often, and I just smoke less. Instead of smoking all day, I only medicate in the Morning and night, and my oil rig and epen are both put away.
I've been toking consistently for going on 6 years, but started 9 years ago. I'm still young but I consider myself seasoned. I can handle my shit, I don't get high just for the high anymore, I grow consistent product, produce pristine hashes, oils, tinctures, lotions, and salves, I've used pretty much every method known to man to smoke, I can tell the difference between strains, know my sativas from my indicas, and have toked on countless strains.

  9. I'm well and truly seasoned then :smoking:

  10. When one has
Hit a multiple smoking devices to know what works and what doesn't and what is used and for why, based on their personal prefference
When they can distinguish if there is mold in the bud, if its foxtailed, if its pop corn bud, if the trim job could have been better, if it tastes like nutrients and hasnt been flushed correctly, if it was a premature chop or not, when they can tell apart a few strains and their characteristics (blue cheese, blue dream, og strains, Afghani, GDP, jack, sour diesel, white widow), when they realize that smoking anything is detrimental to lung health and dont deny that smoking cannabis is unhealthy compared to vaping, have gotten so high theyve greened out at least once, and when theyve read up about the endocannabinoid system and various research done on the drug itself that they are ingesting.
that's a seasoned toker, not by age.... but a matured mentality

  11. A Seasoned Toker?  [IMG]

One who is on their own and has been able to balance smoking/vaping/daps, working, budget and relationships over the majority of their life.

If you are living with parents, going to school at any level unless you are paying for it by working your way through, you are not a Seasoned Toker. I don't care how much you know if you haven't lived it your not seasoned.

Id say after smoking/vaping over 500 times and trying about every method to get medicated multiple times, while learning how to maintain your life and supporting yourself and your habit in a smart way, the latter being more difficult and what im still having issues with

  14. Uhh...knowledge level is part of it. There are some people that are so fascinated by cannabis they know quite a bit more than "seasoned people" and they've only been smoking a short time (less than 1yr).

practice living life with weed is what I define a true seasoned as. Through work, through relationships, through good and bad. True assimilation of weed into your life structure. Knowledge is also important though, both practical and biochemical.

I once was a seasoned toker, many years ago, but I have probably become "unseasoned" as a result of not smoking for many years.  And the state of the art is much different with the different delivery systems and strains and all, so I'm sure I'm unseasoned.  Sort of like an old iron pan.

Profound thought of the day:  It's your experience that makes you an experienced toker.

  16. Been smoking 8 years. I'd call someone a fool if they didn't think I was seasoned.

Rolling Stones magazine says it takes 10 years to master a trait.

  17. lungs are seasoned for sure am i right or am i right?

  18. I think an 18 year old could be a seasoned toker, if he'd been smoking since he was 13 or 14.  Seriously, I've known a few.  And I'm 50.

  19. I'm 20 in August
