Hello everyone! So I've been shopping around for a domeless quartz nail and I'm not sure what design I should get? This daisy design looks great but I'm afraid as I heat up the nail, because of the design a lot of butane will be blown into the piece and I will then have to inhale the nasty gas. This design seems to be everywhere but I feel like it would be odd. I'm not sure why but I feel like this design would be inferior to the others This smaller daisy design looks better since I can then heat it up at like a 45 degree angle from the bottom which would eliminate the butane problem, but I feel like it would take too long for the heat to reach the middle dish. This smaller daisy design is similar to the one above, except it has 4 slits as apposed to 8. Has anyone had a chance to try any of these designs out and have any pros/cons to any design? Any advice/tips/comments are much appreciated! Thanks!
Seriously for that price you can get a good TI nail Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Don't pay over $20 for any quartz. My first one was given free by my glass guy, still holding strong, I recently got a domeless beast off amazon for $12ish, liking it alot.
I prefer to get quartz as I am worried about the safety of inhaling toxic chemicals from titanium nails. Well the problem is that I live in Canada. These are the cheapest I could find with shipping. I don't want to buy from ebay/amazon because after looking at all the reviews, it seems that a lot of people are selling fake quartz (glass) or cheap quality quartz. I'd rather pay double the amount and know for sure it is good quality quartz, instead of paying a little less, only to find out it's just reg glass/low quality quartz. If anyone could find a reputable seller with a lower price including shipping to Canada I would be pretty amazed as I have been searching around for a few days now. Also none of my local HS's carry quartz nails, just Ti and glass.
i doubt theres much market for "fake" quartz. that's like counterfeiting pennies.....pennies a very small percentage of the population uses.
