Need Help Finding A Vaporizer

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by mightyliang, Apr 18, 2014.

  1. so i have a 150-200$ budget and i really want to get a good vaporizer. any suggestions? anyone know where i can find a good deal on some vaporizers seeing as 420 is just right around the corner?
\ni dont care about portability. im stuck between arizer solo, da buddha, and the arizer extreme q4
\ni've looked them up on ebay and they all range ~$140-150 but if I look at the retail price for example, the arizer extreme q4 on the manufaturar website, it costs ~$230-240. Why is there so much of a price difference? Are the ones sold on ebay fake? (the ebay listing says they are authorized sellers).....?

  2. I have the solo, it's very efficient, vapor taste good, battery is descent and probably the easiest vaporizer to clean. I bought mine from authorized retailer just because I don't want to guess if I got a fake or real one. The ones on eBay, you just don't know if they're real or not and might not have a warranty.

  3. Get the skycloud. There is not one bad review or one bad feature about it

Cant go wrong with Arizer, I've used the solo and it's amazing, big clouds every time. The vtower and extreme q are great to, the advantage is you can pack bigger bowls and use it while its plugged in (obviously) but for the portable solo the charging can be very annoying if doing a long session.

  6. The main questions you have to ask are if you want conduction vs convection and portable vs desktop.

ze solo would be best for stealth.

  7. Get another 400 and get the volcano, all other suck. I've regularly used every kinda out there, none come close to the valcono

  8.
    TOTAL BULLSHIT !!!!

  9. Total fact

  10. I gotta agree with the total bullshit. Maybe you like it the best, but generally it has a bad rep. Check around the forums at FuckCombustion and you'll see the opinion of the Volcano around the vaporizing community.

I smoke on 1/5. I was always taught to reduce fractions.

  11. Arizer for the win. Glass on glass with a ceramic heating element. I am using the Vapir one v5 and the parts are made of plastic

guess how the Vape smoke tastes

If that is a fact, let me ask you a question.   Why are there so many people over at FC that have multiple vapes and the ONLY time they take their 'Cano down from the shelf is when they are going to use it in a party situation (and the reason why they do is because a ' Cano is virtually idiot proof).

If you like sucking on a plastic bag to get your vapor, great, but for me, as well as many others, they prefer a vape that has an all glass air and vapor path and that provides a fresh hit with every inhale rather than getting vapor that as soon as it enters the bag, it begins to condense and go stale.

You may love your 'Cano.   That's great that you found a vape that you really like, but just because it may be the perfect vape for you does not mean that it would be the perfect vape for someone else.

  13. Aye everyone have their preferences, I get that. I'm just saying imo that I wouldnt spend money on any other ones.

  14. Solo

    Let's get medicated.

  15.
im not sure what is conduction and convection....but i heard that desktop delivers a "better vapor" than portables due to the battery vs outlet. im looking for a better vaporizer in terms of efficiency (getting a good high) and how much weed i can save.

can anyone tell me why there is a big price difference between the cost of the vaporizers on manufacturer sites and on ebay? should i buy from ebay?

  16.
With Ebay there is more of a risk of the warranty not being valid or getting a used product.

If you want an efficient one that works well get Da Buddha.  I have SSV which is a step up from the DBV and it conserves bud a lot better than my portable pax.

  17. If efficiency is a priority, look at the log-type vapes such as the UnderDog and the E-Nano.   While I LOVE 7th Floor products (had a DBV and an LSV is my daily driver), they are NOT known for their efficiency but rather having the ability to produce HUGE vapor clouds that will hit you in the face like a MAC truck but that ability is totally counter-productive when it comes to bud conservation.    My consumption increased 30% when I went from my log vape (Purple Days) to my LSV.

  18. ive only used a solo a few times and was very impressed with vapor production, its known for its thick clouds and is becoming a standard of comparison for all new units coming onto the scene.. that being said I haven't had the chance to try the other units you mentioned so i cant give a comparison, other than to give my vote to the solo.. also from all the reviews I have read I haven't heard any complaint other than you wanna be careful with the glass stem and some even advise keeping this as  a solo unit, like not passing it around the party.. lol.. to check out reviews on some of those models check out http://www.extremevaporizers.com/

  19. I was an avid combuster despite owning a Pax- I wasn't enjoying vaping as much as everyone swore I would, and stuck with what worked. Now I have the Solo and it's all I use in my house. It's everything the reviews said it is (and trust me, I read lots of reviews before pulling the trigger) and my only worry is about the glass stems, as I'm super clumsy and have actually replaced multiple bongs for dropping/bumping.

  20. What about the big bro Vapor Blunt 2.0 vaporizer
