For starters when you'd blow on what I thought were buds, a cloud of substance went flying. No not WPM nothing on any other plants and they are all in same side of box with same conditions. I realized it was a male after looking at pics on the internet trying to figure out what was going on. Just got done taking plants out of box cleaning and vaccuming and cleaning box out. I thought it was just dust when I saw it earlier today. So I had misted the holy crap out of it (probably lessened the amount of pollen.) I kept looking for the balls you see on the internet to identify it as a male.....can't believe I missed it thought it was female looked like buds! But no way a female plant would have buds that would let off cloud of something when you blow on it. Right? My other plants seem to be female.....they are flowering don't see white hairs but see little green hairs starting to develop where the sacs were on male plant i just pulled out. Hope no more males. What can I do with this one I pulled? ANYTHING or is all that time and effort for nothing? Should I be worried about other plants in box now that I have cleaned it? (The tallest plant in all the pictures bellow was the male I just pulled. The second picture with just one plant in it is one I think is male)

  2. Um yeah thats a male. I can't believe you let it go that long. If any of your females are flowering then they were most likely pollinated. Make hash because itll probably have lots of seeds.

  3. Wow why would you let it get that late in flower?? I would've pulled it as soon as I saw balls

  4. Why would you think those are buds? Are you really that stupid

  5. Unfortunately, some people aren't as smart as you MegaMind. Some people have never grown MJ before and don't know what to look for. It's a mistake you won't make more than once though when you harvest all the seeds.

  6. You should know what the fuck your doing before you even mess with growing. If you don't all you run into is problems.

  7. This is YOUR opinion and you're entitled to it, but opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one and they all stink. Not everyone does things the way YOU think they should.

  8. You can keep the seeds and replant, or sell them. And i'd suggest you study up on recognising males from females. Good luck.

  9. You don't need to be an asshole to people... Everyone has to start from somewhere.

  10. Yea, I know this but if you don't know anything about growing, you're just wasting mjs potential

  11. It's still a learning curve and for all we know he is using bagseed. So not really a waste. How do you think we have all the techniques we have today? Trial and error.

  12. But if you smoke, you should know what female flowers are supposed to look like.... ball sacks are pretty distinct.

no hate, just think its kinda odd OP would let it go that long

  13. I agree he let it go awhile... But smoking doesn't exactly help your memory lol xD
OP learned a good lesson for next time.

  14. thats not a very good excuse. if you handle female flowers on a fairly regular basis, you know what to look for..

  15. KILL KILL KILL KILL

  16. How many seeds you get depends on how far along your girls were! If they were barely showing, you will get a few seeds- just enough to be annoying. If they were well into flower, you just got a life-time supply of free seeds.

Also any pollen that just settled on surfaces is still live!  You can deactivate it by wiping things down with a weak sugar water solution, followed by wiping down with plain water (ants). The sugar causes the pollen to "think" it is on a female flower, and it sends out a tubule to fertilize the flower. Since there is no female flower, the pollen dies.  (My cousin did a science fair project on pollen when we were kids.)

If you just want to smoke it yourself, you can easily remove the seeds with this old hippie trick. Let your buds get bone-dry. The head to the kitchen and get that big wire mesh strainer and a good-sized bowl. Rub the buds through the strainer. Seeds and stems stay in the strainer, nicely flaked, clean bud falls into the bowl! Put the clean cannabis into a jar and add a couple drops of water, and shake it. Let it sit for a while and then check the moisture level. If still too dry, add a few drops more. If too damp, leave the jar open for a while. If just right, roll one up! :smoke:

And to the "rude dudes", I suppose none of you have EVER made a single noobie mistake? Never got distracted for a few days by "real life"? I know I wasn't born knowing how to grow cannabis...were you? :confused_2:   And just last month, I got distracted by family issues and "Lo and behold", I found a young male in my grow closet  - not near as far along as his, but it was clearly a male!

Be nice to beginners, we were ALL there once, and remember, life happens!

  17.
Congratulations on your first seed crop. I try to do at least one seed crop a year.

let the seeds stay on the live mother for 8 weeks to get nice mature seeds. They can be sprouted right away if they are brown and mature.

  18. The OP never claimed to be experienced... This was probably his first or second grow...

  19. never said anything about growing experience, you shouldnt necessarily need growing experience to be able to tell a male from a female, especially that late in flowering.

  20. You have a piss poor way about you...
