What is being used to help aid in the recovery of a traumatic brain injury?
A year ago I came across another patient at rehab that had also acquired a traumatic brain injury in a car accident....
He was recovering quickly n he attributed that to the fact that he smoked a allot marijuana pre n post injury.....
I would like to order some seed n attempt to grow some in the hopes of smoking some to aid in my own recovery..
    Thank you in advance

  2. Have you grown or smoked much before? There's a lot to learn but you'll find that this wonder plant can help make pain easier to deal with, and sometimes even without any intoxicating effect.

I'm no doctor and I don't know much about you, but look into high-CBD strains like Harlequin as they are commonly used for pain.

    Good luck!

  3. Thanks n to answer your question yes n yes.....I haven't smoked since high school n I tried to grow indoor once, but the seeds weren't that great n my indoor lighting was inadequate.....
I don't have any pain, I have neurological deficiency's such as low vision n slurred speech.....I've read where marijuana affects brain function ......n am hoping it will affect mine........in a positive way!

  5. If it's in regards to the brain injury, i highly recommend you look into the research behind the patent of cannabinoids as neuro protectants and antioxidants. It's why cannabis can be used to treat Alzheimers, dementia and other neuro degenerative diseases.

A lot of this is because cannabis ultimately combats free radical/oxidative stress and damage. Most diseases are rooted in oxidative stress. Injuries cause oxidative damage. Aging physically is not necessarily due to calendar time, rather it is oxidative damage accumulating day after day.

If you could eliminate all oxidative damage, you would biologically not show deteriorating age or suffer age related illness. Can you see the potential here? Clever minds have associated cannabis as the ultimate longevity plant, for great reason.

Smoking may give many benefits, but for best infux of cannabinoids you may consider looking into concentrates or edibles. For example, RSO works so well for cancer because of its potency and smoking joints won't match that. For your injury i would smoke/vape but also look into strong pure oil or etc. yes with THC stil.

  6. Thanks 00. I'll look Into that, do you know of a particular seed/brand that you could recommend to me?

  7. I would recommend a heavy producing Sativa with the highest CBD level you can find. Not only smoking it, but juicing raw marijuana, or just straight up eating raw marijuana, has awesome medicinal properties. Note though, raw cannabis will not get you stoned, but huge health benefits. Only thing is one needs huge amounts to get the largest benefit. I suggest you do some research into raw cannabis use and benefits if you've never heard of it before. Youtube videos, etc.
