The buds feel kind of moist, I didnt want to touch them too much. I would say more then 50% of the hairs are amber, and I have no idea how milky the crystals are. I tried using a x4 magnifying glass and couldn't infer much. They look like twinkling stars in a green sky. Am I waiting too long? Thats what I'm worried about.. almost wouldnt mind harvesting today. I know I won't be able to smoke it by 4/20 though, I still need to cure it.
If most of the pistils have turned darker say 50/60% you shud harvest them, they will contain the most TCH at this point
It looks good, but I think I would give it a bit more time. Maybe you could celebrate 4/20 by clipping all day lol
Going to wait for the ammonia odor from the plant using up its last chlorophyll evaporates. And all the THC converts from its acidic form to its psychoactive ph neutral form for maximum potency and usage. Source: http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-faqs/60954-drying-curing-your-buds.html woo its almost gone full cycle now, from seed to seedling, to vegitation, to flower, to smoke. Never been able to have herb produced by my own hands, this is going to be a great experience.
You can harvest whenever you want, if they will be done by then is up in the air. You want a good hand held 100x zoom microscope. One with a light attached won't even run you $20 on Amazon. Can't get it by your expected date, but just for future reference =]
