So its been a while since utilizing this site but I'm back and with some new toys and a simple dwc method, not gonna be using a aero system this time around it was too much going on when i could have just used my bottom pumps to add oxygen and nothing else...ok so lets get this thread started off with pics of the set up and a list of what I have 1- 4x2x5 tent 1- 1000w hps/mh switchable utrasun hood and ballast 1- 3"-4" table top fan used for light cooling light 1- table top heater/fan combo for air circulation and adding some resistance to the plants stocks 1- 30 gal Rubbermaid dwc tub 1- 20-60 gal 2 post aquarium pump w/splitters 1- 5 gal dwc bucket (to be added soon) the Chivon
just finished making my ona water bead air scrubbing bucket out of a 3 gal black bucket an 8" in. Bucket lid with built-in net.....an 8" in. 2sp Oscillating fan with cage removed...some tie downs...and some gorilla tape for extra air leak protection........gonna be making a mini one of these for my living room next....... the Chivon

Thanx Letter 3....ill look into that, when I bought the pump it said on the box up to 60 gallons but ill pick up another if needed since they are fairly cheap the Chivon
I find if I'm looking at an air pump that's measured in gph its easier to judge its effectiveness by the wattage used on the pump. You could always convert gph back to LPM as well. 30-60gph is pretty weak. For 30 gallons of water you should be looking into a pump that offers 60 LPM at a minimum. got 2 strains on Wednesday from caliban seed....the Papaya and the Buddha....and started the germ process, lets see what these beans are made of! ....also got some more gear ordered and on the way to finish the set-up the Chivon
Seedlings germinated and are pushing hard........only a couple days under a fluorescent and heater the Chivon
Big difference over night!...2-3 day germ turn around.....means I gotta hurry and decided what to do for drains in my 5gal buckets and slap those babies together. ...having a scrog this time around is making this project a lil more difficult since I won't be able to move the buckets around the Chivon
Letters correct. I have about 10 of those pumps, one for each bucket, 2 lines into each, no splitters and its barely enough for a 5 gal bucket with 2.5 gallons of water.
So I got the rest of my buckets today and prep'd them just gotta wait over night for the silicone to cure and grab some more snorkel hose. I also got this pump fairly cheap from a friend today and gonna use my smaller aquarium pump for a small clone bubble box I made.....also the seedlings are looking good! Cant wait to transplant into the dwc buckets... the Chivon

So I got everything up and going.....2 papaya...2 green crack...and 2 Buddha. ..water in buckets is ph'd to in between yellow/greenish more yellow tho....and also have a small bucket of water being ph'd and aerated for top feeding till the roots shoot out more...these are the remaining seedlings I have which I think ill be planting outside in pots just for some fun..lol the Chivon
So now that I have everything going and started im worried my neighbor (apts) can hear or feel the humming and vibration of the air pump.I have it hanging in the tent now instead of being on the floor, am I just paranoid? My roomate says he cant hear or feel anything in the living room or in his room...and the neighbors bathroom is whats next to my room? Responses from Anyone whos dealt with this would be helpful thanx ahead of time the Chivon
So i got some more goodies for my set up and this is the complete build...vortex fan...insulated ducting for a stealthy fan.fan speed control....New 2nd ona bucket connected to the fan exhaust. .and some new clones...lav krypto....ice berry and snowberry the Chivon
I placed these clones in the tanks about 24 hours ago and they looked good even after 12 hours in there(pic up above).........i get home this evening and this is what they look like now....whats going on??..is it stress from the replanting?..should they come back on their own? the Chivon
