Why Does My Throat Burn When I Smoke?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Braiden420, Apr 17, 2014.

  1. First off I smoke on the daily and have been for a while now. I'v had this problem since I started smoking. Sometimes when I smoke, my throat will randomly start burning and when I try to talk my voice will sound shaky and raspy. I will constantly swallow saliva to try to somehow "moisten" my throat but if I try to talk again I will sound like I just got done crying and my voice will be shaky or some shit.

This only happens rarely but it's annoying and weird when it does. It's like I can't talk properly or something. Anyone have any solutions?

do you smoke out of a bowl?  i may not totally understand the problem, but have you tried holding the smoke in your mouth so that it cools down before you bring it through your throat?  I would think breathing really hot smoke could cause this.

  3. Drink a lot of water solved the problem for me
