No Effects From Edibles After 1-Time Experience

  1. About 4 years ago I had a crazy experience with edibles and since then have never felt the slightest effect from them. I ate a brownie with 1.5g in it and went to the movies with my friends. When the movie was over I had fallen asleep and when they woke me up, I tried to stand but collapsed. I couldn't walk or talk and my vision was black with pixelated color, similar to that before passing out or a heat stroke. It was a pretty scary experience and since then, I have tried edibles many times and while they effected my friends strongly, I have have felt nothing. This has confused me for years and I would LOVE to know why this is happening if anybody has any ideas!

  2. Can't help you man. Only time I ever ate an edible it was made wrong so since then I don't buy edibles from dealers.

  3. Edibles for some people are hit and miss. I can not do edibles due to the fact I have built up a strong tolerance to smoking. Over here in Washington i have seen high quality edibles not work on me but works fine for others. basic tolerance and genetics I would say. I can buy a 200 mg CBD chocolate candy bar for $20. Three pieces and my friends get perma grin, i eat the whole thing and still smoking. If you can get your hands on medicate coffee do it!

you sat down and relaxed for a long period then stood up suddenly.. The effect was from your blood pressure dropping and standing up suddenly...a common thing...marijuana edibles had nothing to do with it anymore then the theaters seat cushion material

That definitely makes sense for why I reacted that way when I took it, but I still am not sure why I only felt the effects of it that very first time and never again since

I had it happen twice as a kid...but never again..and I was just 12, hadn't tried pot or alcohol.

young, body still changing, hormones still in flux...food/liquids consumed...lots of factors... :smoking:

  7. possibly because as others have said, unless you know with what, and how they are being made edibles can be very hit and miss
