Drying Bud?

  1. How crucial is it to let your bud dry for the amount of time that it should take?

Because I let mine dry for about 4 days and picked it probably a few days early, so the buds are still slightly wet. Is this bad at all? Should I have let it keep hanging? Its still dank just tougher to smoke right now. In a day or so I'm sure they will be completely dry, but I kind of was wondering if there is a difference between letting them dry on the stems or harvesting early and drying em in jars.

your meant to let it dry so it's not to wet and not to dry and then cure it in glass jars for 2 weeks minimum

  3. The only reason to really hang them is to avoid mold by letting them dry partially before putting them in jars. Putting them in a little early may require more frequent venting and longer durations than normal but should be fine unless they are extremely wet.
