The only reason i think there's been more reports of people dying after eating edibles especially in calorado is because of all the new first time marijuana users or ones who almost ever smoke. Think about it for a sec, how would you react if you've never injected multiple marijuana before in your youthood and then suddenly you have to handle eating one or more edibles? Especially these people who are already weird and shit. Mental illness? Cannabis is a mild hallucinogen, but it doesn't give you mythical powers or trigger anger. But there's probably other factors hiddden.

And the slow response time from first responders probably didn't help either.
