  1. Do You Guys Think Cannabis Could Be Legalized In Virginia, Or Be The Next State To Legalize. I Would Like To Hear Your Guys Opinions.

It's going to take several years. We may be one of the last to legalize or even have a medical program. Might as well make a visit to a neighboring state for the taste of dank freedom.

  3. virginia wanted to put cannabis in alcohol stores regulated and sold along side alcohol but it did not pass. this was about the same time colorado legalized for rec use. at least they were thinking ahead and it still could work but they said that it would make it easier for kids to get.( what!!) that makes total sense, putting it in places where only 21 and older have access will have every kid in town hooked in a matter of weeks because of how it will be easy for kids to access.

  4. Maryland and Washington D.C will have legalized marijuana within the next 3 years. Virginia needs to legalize it or many people will get arrested for smuggling it back from the two places and the loss in tax revenue. Virginia will probably legalize within a year or two after that.

  5. By the time Virginia legalizes, I'll probably be long gone lol.

living in central VA I can say with full certainty that it will be legal here in 10 years TOPS. (ha, just like the rest of the US)  Virginia is a "southern state" (although it almost doesn't feel like it) but our citizens are waking up. the last couple of years Virginia has transitioned from a deep red state to a strong blue state now. we now have another new Democrat as our Governor. and things are definitely changing; just not as fast as we'd like. our citizens have been yelling at our representatives for awhile now but they're just starting to listen to us.

  7. ^ Do you have proof of this? From what I see, NOTHING is working and there is no hope. especially from people like bob marshall. I think virginia's only hope is nationwide legalization. THEN the ball can starting rolling

  8. I'm 64 and my dream for the last 40yrs or so, was to see it legalized. Thank God we're moving in that direction as a nation. Unfortunately, I live in Virginia, and it is hardly mentioned in public except in a negative way.

There's so many retired military that we'll probably be one of the last to even legalize medical marijuana. Old sailors and govt employees don't seem to mind drinking themselves into a stupor every nite, but MJ is still just for scum-bag, liberal, hippies.

My wife was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and had to have part of her lung removed, so smoking, even vaping is really rough on her. I've had chronic migraines and arthritis for a long time. My problem is, when you're a certain age, if you don't have kids or grandkids, it's almost impossible to find. When you do, the cost is so high, you can't get enough to use in edible form.

I voted for Sarvis for gov, but I knew he didn't stand a chance. We can only hope that southern states will smarten up as those in govt get younger.
