So I'm in NYC for spring break this week, got there Sunday and before the sun went down I had a bag of bud and a few new buddies. On Monday night I went into the streets with my one hitter, asked a dude for a safe place to smoke and he handed me his dank roach to finish. Yesterday I met an Egyptian guy at my hotel who brought hash with him from Egypt and we matched in the hotel room last night. I'd go nuts living here but it's a damn fine place to visit
and they have stop and frisk meaning the cops can come and search you any time for any reason they want. They don't even need a real reason.
yeah thing is...... most ny cops are actual human beings..... and do not fuck with you unless you provide them a reason...... possession is just a ticket....if you have it all in one bag..... they really have better things to do ...... not saying you cant find the occasional asshole..... just that that are much farther between than in places down south i have lived......

I would think NYC wouldn't be a stoner's paradise simply because the prices of weed are pretty damn high.
I am in and out of ny.... my cozen and his wife are both ny cops.... at their wedding reception....while all the cops were getting little kids drunk..... i fired up a fat one and tried like Hell to pass it round.... no takers... I was recently arrested in ny on a warrant for criminal contempt..... the cops who came for me... let me put all my stuff up...tools and shit... and empty my pockets.... put up my weed... before they took me in.... All my experience with cops in ny has been far more positive than in Fla.... by far.. Now... you give them a reason to fuck with you... and things change....

Washington Square Park smoke out on 4/20 at 4:20pm We the people will be engaging in a massive action of civil disobedience. Cannabis is a natural plant that grows in the ground. there is no reason why it should be illegal. All it does is make people Happy.... Is that such a crime? I'd go to the smoke-in, but the possibility of getting arrested isn't a good idea for me at this time. I do admire those who are willing to risk it, though. They is a march every year, but not on April 20. "420" was never a big thing in New York City, it's more of a West Coast expression that spread and never really caught on in NYC. Yea it has never been a big thing for me in NYC. As for this year, with all the big changes going on in the US and the world with cannabis i offer a chance to just show some love.
