  1. How many of you take "T breaks"? Just wondering because I've never taken one other than being completely dry. How long should you take? How do you cope? It sounds like something I might want to try but I get so "anxious" without medicating

    I gottcha now, I just never new they had a name. I thought it was a toke break. Lol
    But I actually don't mind taking breaks as long as its because I want to . And not because I'm on probation or anything like that , for me it's kinda like a vacation from weed, I've been useing for so long now . Like 20 years. It's kinda nice to be totally clear headed . I use the time to become one with my inner self . I know it sounds cheesy but that's the best way to describe it. I choose to be healthier , make better choices , a more remememberious time. Meaning I don't forget as much . And like to do more things . Reading ,going for walks, frisbee golfing. All three things I like to do both stoned and sober, although if sober I may just do all three of thoes things in one day ,and if stoned, maybe 1 thing, sometime maybe!

    I'm thinking about taking a "T-break " right meow

    T-break = Tolerance break, I just take a week off now and then 
     
    It can suck sometimes I find it hard to eat properly, not to mention those restless sleeps
     
    Can someone clear up the Mango theory to me please? I hear a lot of this talk about mangos enhancing the high but i'm not sure if it's people messing around or not.

    So, apparently, and I have yet to see any science to back this up- mangoes are high in a terpene called myrcene. Some cannabis strains have it too, but in much lower quantities. What i've heard claimed is that myrcene increases the permeability of the blood-brain barrier. Simply put, it makes it easier for stuff in your blood to get into the brain. When you smoke cannabis generally only 1-2% of the THC actually makes it into the brain, so there is a lot of room for improvement there.
     
    So myrcene is suspected to be a potentiator, it will make whatever lipid soluble drug you take show up in your brain in higher quantities. So you eat a mango 30 minutes to an hour before smoking, and the high feels stronger.
     
    Like I said, never seen any science to back this up and i've searched. If anyone has anything in that vein, link me please.

    @[member="Lebowski"], nice post, have you tried it? I will probably pick some up Monday, there is a lot of posts about mangos purportedly increasing the intensity of the high but how much is how much really. It just seems like mostly speculation, there isn't much to lose in trying though

  11. T breaks are a good idea. You can save money, and get more out of your weed. I've noticed that even a short, 48 hour interval between smoking can really sharpen your high.

  13. I haven't had one in 3 years save for 2 days on vacation when my trip got unexpectedly extended. A regular omega-3 dose really helps a lot with tolerance, as well as turmeric I've noticed.

    When i vape its about .15 total and every time it gets me very high and if i have pain, its gone immediately. I typically vape 3-6 times a day as well, sometimes sharing with my GF. I don't start geeking out at nothing very often anymore but thats about it as far as a tolerance.

    Edibles on the other hand, i will build one quick if using coconut oil. If i do it more than once a week i have to double the dose to get the effect. Other fats seem to not have as much of an effect on the tolerance like coconut does.

    I grab a mango Naked drink whenever I can and maybe it's a placebo, but I like the combo! The high seems slightly longer and more intense.
     
  15. Mycerene won't do much if you have good weed. It more so adds something if you have commercial bud or brick weed
