Hey blades I know hardly anybody's active anymore on this site but I thought i'd give it a shot anyways. Whats everyones opinions on olympic glass? like it or no? why? Was thinking about getting one, most likely a 60mm or 50mm horizon to helix, or a 50mm or 60mm horizon to double helix. (inverted helix) Anyone ever hit one of these Without the ac and bowl. thats the exact one I might be buying off a dude locally. Would you guys recommend it? Don't have much in my collection atm, just a sovereignty king gline and a gline 8. love the gline 8 but not a big fan of the king gline.
I can try to help. I've never hit an olympic, but was considering it for awhile. This guy in a head shop in cali was banging an olympic tube against his countertop to show me how strong it was made. Not exactly scientific in his methods, but he proved his point I suppose. Have you ever held or seen an olympic in person? The reason I ask is I also have 2 sovereigntys. And after seeing the olympic in person, I wasn't as impressed as I was after seeing videos on the internet of it.. Comparing it to the sovs, the grids and the craftsmanship just seemed..... Unrefined, or blocky maybe. Its hard to describe. So after seeing what I saw, I bought a g line to imperial instead.. I'm not trying to knock olympic, they seem very functional. I just figured since you own sovereignty, maybe you could relate. Just my 2 measly cents, I hope that helps.
I've seen a few in person, yeah the gridding deff isn't as clean or perfect, for sure understand what you're saying, anyone else?
check out function vids on youtube for double helix. I was talking to someone about one but after seeing the vid I decided against it. I think it was draggy as hell but I don't remember exactly why I didn't like it I just know I passed on it and thought the horizon line or helix-horizon were better.

I've never hit them but they seem like quality to me. I'm friends with the blower on fb, it starts with a T. That piece looks crazy, I don't understand the top perc lol.
