Transplanting More Then Once Bad???

  1. Hello everyone..ive read that transplanting more then once could do some damage. Can someome explain this a little for me? I got clones in rockwhol plugs that will need transplanted soon. Going to either solo cup or 1 gallon smart pots. Going to 5-10 gallon pots eventually. I just need enough soil for my clones to last a lil over a month so i can move them to the flower room.

  2. Well, it's not bad in that it's guaranteed to kill your girl or anything. It's just that any time you transplant it can shock the plant. And there's usually some recovery time. Sometimes it's just a day or two. Others can take longer. So every time you transplant, you're basically extending veg time. And other shit that can happen. When I used to grow soil, I tried to limit myself to one transplant per plant. Basically I would go from the solo cups they started in to the final 3 or 5 gallon pot. Out of curiosity, why not just go straight to the final pot? Cut out the solo cups or one gallon SPs.
