  1. I am a 38 year sufferer of Crohns disease. I am currently on disability due to a myraid of conditions that cause severe, chronic, dibilitating pain. I live in Pennsylvania where it is not allowed to be prescribed. I am willing to get a doctor in NJ as it is only a 2 hour ride for me, BUT.....can a NJ doctor prescribe it to me even though I live in PA?  I am at my wits end. Nothing is working. I have been cut off of narcotic pain meds due to overuse, I don't qualify for help in undergoing Remicaid. I am disabled due to my illnesses and now it's hard to even get around my apartment. If you know if I can get a NJ doc and a script from a NJ doctor, can I have it filled in NJ. Will the doctor even prescibe it knowing I live in PA? I am willing to risk traveling with it if necessary.  Also, do they have marijuanna pills vs. having to smoke it?\\

  2. You have to be a resident of the state to get a card. Once you have the card you can take weed into PA.

  3. Yeah you can't get a NJ doc to prescribe for you without living here.  Have to be a resident.  Plus you have to have a bona fide relationship with the doc that consists of being treated by said doc for a year.  On top of that you have to see them at least 4 times and have to have exhausted all conventional methods or show a lack of tolerance to those methods.

Here the site for NJ....      http://www.nj.gov/health/medicalmarijuana

Crohns is a qualifying condition but you have to move to Dirty Jersey.

Your probably better off waiting for PA to go medical
