Would I Be Making Qwiso Hash Correctly?

  1. So in a few days I am going to start my first attempt at making QWISO hash. I will be putting around a quarter in it as my first test yield. My question is, will the way I make it work properly and be safe for both consumption and making it.​

    So first I was planing to have the grinded up weed in cup for a couple of hours as well as the ISO alcohol. I will be using 91% for my first test run. Once both are cooled for a couple of hours I planned on pouring the ISO alcohol into the cup of grinded up weed just until it reaches the top of the grinded up weed. Once it's inside, I would mix for 30 seconds and then filter it through a coffee filter into a Pyrex dish that fits into a pot(or bigger Pyrex, whatever is available) of heated water(not too hot). I will repeat the process of pouring ISO alcohol and mixing it once more to make sure I have all of the good good out of the weed. This is where my question will really come it. Am I able to I guess the word would be purge it safely and correctly the way I'm doing it with the materials that I am able to have at my disposal?​
     
     
     

     
  2. I am a beginner at hash making as well. Never dealt with purging or anything, but from what your plan sounds like, you will definitely get some hash. Not sure how healthy it'll be, but you're going to get some haha  
     
  3. Word thanks for the response. I don't expect to get some amazing shit, but I don't want it to be a health hazard either lol. Once I have the money I'm definitely going to invest in a vacuum purger I believe it's called or something.

  4. Vacuum purging is for butane honey oil Not ISO.
     
    There is nothing unhealthy in the iso unless you sprayed fertilizer and insecticide on the bud.
     
    The big thing is do it outside and dont smoke around it.
     
    I never cared for ISO a lot but have made lots of it. It fucked my friends up.
