  1. As you can tell by the avatar and name im a huge Panthers fan. Our first season was 95 and i was only 2 years old but in my dads lap watching the games with him. Since then i have missed only a few games.

So how many Panthers fans we have on GC. I know ive seen one poster around with a Newton sig. and what do you think about the offseason we've been having.

I personally think that even with Steve Smiths loss our receiving core stands a chance to be better next year. Jerricho Cotchery was a decent signing who will be a good no 3 wr for us. Underwood is essentially Ginns replacement. We added Jason Avant just recently, a player with great hands. The draft is where we will find our biggest improvement in WR though. Brandin Cooks could be a great no 1 receiver with the first round pick but it is also a deep draft when it comes to WRs. I expect we draft another tall target for Newton around rd 4, Someone like Cody Latimer. Needless to say i cant wait for the draft and and season to kick off.

  2. I live not far from Charlotte and I'm a major Carolina fan. However I feel like our management is our worst enemy... None of our WRs this year have a single catch as a panther. Getting rid of Steve smith was the stupidest thing we could have ever done. Newtons good, but not the hero a lot of people make him out to be though.

It'll be interesting to see if we royally fucked up once we actually got shit started or if the management knows what their doing. Which they don't exactly have the best track record for doing such.

Ill have my guns, money, and freedom. Y'all can keep y'alls change.

  3. Been a Panthers fan for as long as they've been around (I was probably 4 or so their first season) and I am currently living in Charlotte as well. I can't wait for next season, I just hope we can acquire some good receivers and defensive backs. Cam is going to have a rough year if we can't pick up anyone good on the receiving end.

  4. I'm so glad the Seahawks knocked you guys out. Colin Kapernick is overrated. The 49ers are good, but they won't win a Super Bowl with Kap at this rate. Especially not with the Seahawks in their division as the younger, better team. :) Russel Wilson is better than Kap anyway. Cam too.
