Daughters Outed Me........

Discussion in 'Real Life Stories' started by azcactus, Apr 15, 2014.

  1. Well it happened. I vaped in my BR earlier around 8:45 and one of my twin daughters, who are 15 said, "You smell like smoke." I just decided to come clean, explained some of the reasons I use cannabis; neuropathy in my foot, anxiety and depression. Told them truthfully that I only use a small amount when I do partake.

Hoping I did the right thing.

Explained to them both, that it was illegal in our state (OKLA) and that I had no desire to get in trouble because I view it as a medicine.

I then had them watch, until 10:00, the documentary "Lynching Charlie Lynch" which shows a lot of medicinal value along with the anti-propaganda.

If you have never seen this film, it is on NetFlix.

  2. I sure hope they understood, how did it turn out OP?

  3. pretty misleading title.. so basically you just sat and educated your kids? im disappointed in this thread.

Turned out fairly well. We are going to finish the show tomorrow night. Had to stop at 10 for night prayers and bedtime for them.

To the other GC member...yes I did basically educate them. It was needed though, since cannabis has been on the state news a lot lately.  Sorry if you're disappointed in my thread title or the thread.

    OMFG! ! ! ! !

you smoke pot?!?!?!? <smh> you know it will turn into a "H" addiction by morning don't you...how will your family get along while you wither in the gutters with a monkey on your back...

    bad vibes.

  7. Haha well that's nice. If she's 15 she might already do it.

  8. No, my daughters have not had those type of experiences yet. They don't go out and run around, we don't live near any other teens and they take great joy in their church work and our attendance.

    I been a single dad since the twins were 3. I have 4 children 1 24 y/o son and 3 daughters, 16 and the twins are 15.

It was just time to let it be known. I hate lying to them and they need to be educated in this day and age.

  9. You should have said, "you smell like smoke".

    Awkward silence.

  10. I have twin daughters too. I look forward to the day i can explain in Full detail this wonderful plant.

  11. I'm glad they reacted well :D

  12.

Yes me too. We watch the news every night both state and local and it's been on the national evening news shows so much and our state has stories on about other states going legal and here in OKLA there is a rough draft being written for a mmj law that would have to have signatures gathered to be put to a vote of the people, by the people, for the people. 2016 is as soon as that could happen.

  13. Text size is very distracting

Sorry Kris. I like a 24 font...I type my posts, you type yours and it's all good.  Plus it's an option.

  15. My daughters are ten months. My other twins (boys, not really twins but ten months apart, might as well be) know it as dads medicine.

Since they were young whipper snappers they knew what it was because i grew it like i grow tomatoes. I jus keep it real.

Theyre not idjets, so they know whats up.

Plus, they their loyalty is with me. I planted seeds of distrust in the authority figure beyond family at a young age. I told them, respect school officials, but realize they think youre an idiot and i know better, so keep family business in the family

they are loyal, good, intelligent ,functioning kids, even though the system expects clones....

How'd you smell like smoke if you vaped? I haven't vaped in awhile but I don't think I ever smelled after, could be wrong though.

  17. Yeah I'm a bit curious about how it smelled if you were vaping :p

But, I condone you for educating them about Cannabis!
I think that's around a perfect age for them to learn about it and how it has been oppressed the last 100 years or so because of liars. Good for you! I can't wait to have kids of my own and tell them all about how awesome Cannabis can be.
