3Rd Time Smoking | Questions

    Hello,
     
       Today will be my 3rd time smoking weed. I'm going to do it alone. I picked up 2 Grams of Yoda's Brain OG from a buddy for $20. Weighed out, it's more like 2.2Gs. 
     
    Not sure if this is the best quality of bud, so I'd like your opinion.
    Smells like Chocolate, or Coffee. Also has a hint of skunk. 
    There are a lot of small crystals, you might not be able to see it in the picture.

    I will be smoking out of a homemade bong that I made. It's airtight and has a slider. But my other 2 experiences smoking weed, were from smoking a J. I'm not really sure what technique I should use for smoking out of a bong. I know it will be a lot cleaner and colder of a hit.

    The bud is about as purple as you can get before going black. Looks good...   Hope the "stem" on that bong isn't plastic tho....

    Place the weed in your bong, press your lips firmly inside the mouth of the bottle so no smoke is wasted, light your weed with the lighter, gently suck in and the smoke should bubble into the bottle through the water for you to inhale.

    What is that bong made of? If the stem is plastic it will likely melt and you're gonna have a bad time. Get a cheap glass piece from a gas station or smoke shop. It'll be worth it.
     
    If you're going to use that bong or a healthier looking one I suggest you take it easy the first rip. I usually fill the bong then pull the slide after exhale a bit so I can clear the entire piece. After you do it once or twice you'll get the hang of it. No special techniques that I know of. Looks like some nice stuff you got yourself there. Enjoy!
