Hello to all persons interested in my grow!!

This is my second grow, I made the mistake of thinking I could jump straight into hydroponic growing so I bought a wilma set and it couldn't of gone any worse during veg. The end product was very nice though due to a good strain ( critical kush as seen in the picture attached )

So now I'm going for a nice and easy soil grow with some big budda blue cheese.

    My setup:

    1.2x1.2 / 4ftx4ft grow tent
    6inch inline fan
400watt hid with both bulbs for veg and flowering
    2x clip on fans
2x 80watt radiators controlled by a thermostat plug
    5 x 18litre/4.7 gallon pots
I'm using bio bizz all mix soil
I also will be using a scrog net as support

I have decided to try mainlining 2 plants as I love the look of mainlined plants and the fact that you don't get any popcorn buds! I'm only using 2 plants for this to see how well the strain can handle the trauma, if all is well I will do all my future grows using this technique.
If anyone has mainlined a blue cheese strain before I would be very interested to hear how it responded .

I will update regularly as soon as my seeds sprout there first root!

I understand I have probably missed something obvious here so don't hesitate to ask any questions or tell me I'm doing something wrong lol

    Thank you for your time!

  2. Im have been looking to make a seed order and Blue Cheese was one I really was interested in, I was even more interested in was Barneys Farm CBD Blue Shark, its Blue Cheese crossed with CBD Shark its got 6.5% THC and 6.5% CBD.......Thats one im def gonna snag, but im excited to see you grow your Blue cheese. I use Scrog, LST, whatever to keep her horizontal.......I would forsure not skimp on the size of your pots when using soil. Good Luck=]

  3. BTW most plant respond well to postitive and encouraging pruning, to a certain extent they love it

    Hey Cheese,

Gonna follow this as I'm interested to find out what mainlining is all about. Might be something I may try in the future, if it works out well for you.

Also what make of tent do you have or is it homemade?

Good luck with the grow :)

  5. Hello @[member="DrSweetLeef"] thanks for your fast reply!
my favourite strain to smoke is cheese so blue cheese was an easy pick for me!! There's so many to choose from I bet if you don't have a favourite it can take ages to pick one lol.
I can't wait to get the seeds into soil! 2 of them haven't got there taproot yet -.- but the other 3 have, i'm thinking of potting two early just to give them a head start for mainlining.
I got the biggest pots that were in my grow shop, hoping that the plants will grow stronger and more resistant to the trauma lol

It's good to have you here :)

  6. Hello @[member="Gr8Kiem"], I read one thread on mainlining and I have been waiting for my other plants to finish to finally get started!! Would be so good to have a plant that is just colas! Hopefully I can do it justice then :)

My tent is a non branded one off eBay cheap but dose the job!

    Thank you

  7. Big pots are really nice, just not too big when its younger

  8. Im in! Just got some seeds of this on order a few days ago! And they are goin in dirt as well. I've had a few 1 lb plants in dirt, but never scrogged one. So give er hell man!

    Just a quick update

Potted the 3 blue cheese seeds that actually germinated, and to make up for the 2 failed seeds, I've got a young afgan kush (WOS)plant and I've started germinating my other free seed strawberry blue by world of seeds, this strain is a mystery to me but the specs look good with 20% thc and it's a small bush like plant mostly indica. Really just wanted all blue cheese but shit happens!!

  10. @[member="10after420"] cheers for your support!! Good to know I have a experienced soil grower here, I most probably will need your assistance at one point on this grow :)

  11. Hey Cheese, what's your temps ranging from when the tent is closed, Have you got any heat extraction going on?
I got quite a small tent with a large cfl and my temp are up to 35C, think I need to build a pc fan extraction unit for the sock.

Also are you going to mainline 2 still, or all five?

  12. Hello @[member="Gr8Kiem"], my temps range from about 18C-28C, I have a 150cm extraction fan at the top of the tent and I'm using a clip on fan to blow air in from a vent in the side, I don't know if a PC fan would be strong enough but it's better then nothing! I'm no expert but too much heat will slow the whole process of growing!

I'm not to sure now I only have 3 blue cheeses, I most probably will do one of them and I will mainline the strawberry blue strain :)

    Thanks for your post

  13. I can leave the door open for now to keep it at 20-25C but as soon as the leaves pop I'll need to make use of all the reflective surfaces. Might have to try and raise the funds to get a proper extraction setup. Whats the noise levels like?

  14. @[member="Gr8Kiem"] You could probably find a mini extractor fan, they are pretty loud but it will help with heat issues allot. You could get a timer for the extraction fan so you don't hear it over night

  15.
Thanks man, I'll have to sort something pretty soon. Do you have a carbon filter on yours?

That first plant had buds the size of nerf footballs, and the smallest plant in the other pics was 12 oz's dried.

  17. @[member="10after420"] I smoked chocolop in Amsterdam one of the nicest strains I've had. have you tried mainlining blue cheese? Because I've read that it isn't a good strain to do it with!

Also with only 1 400watt light Is it possible to get giants like yours?

  18. Ya I'm hip bro. I mentioned that in the thread in my signature. I could find the notification to find who had said that. I had to come find this by goin through all my subscribed threads lol. Total stoner move. Anyway Ya I know that. I'm just gonna grow email big as he'll!  Thanks for the heads up though brother.

No you won't get big huge plants and bids like that. You need lots. I run 4 1000 watt lights and digilux bulbs and Apollo bulbs 2 of each. But you can get bigger plants then you have grown if you let them veg longer and Scrog them out. That gets you the most efficient use of your light.

  20. greetings.. I'm subbed wanna see how similar chess strains grow. I'm working with a cbd cheese and its my first run
