Hey, im into week 3 of vegging as of today and I've realized that my pH keeps going up...i keep on adding ph down but i get the feeling that im doing something wrong or im adding too many chemicals to the res..anyone have any advice? my ph shifts between 5.8-6.2 and the temp of the water in my res is 22'C. thanks in advance
This is pretty normal for hydro. As your water becomes thicker with nutrients the pH will start to maintain itself. In the meantime keep monitoring your pH levels. I maintain ph @ 5.8 untill the end, then i let it go anywhere between 5.8 - 6.2. Just keep adding ph down to get your res back to where you want it and eventually it maintain itself. How many times a day do you feed?
Ok, im guessing youre growing with roots in the solution or something along the lines of that method.
