I Want To Start Vaping

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by patrickbongford, Apr 14, 2014.

  1. I recently decided I wanted to use vaping as my primary method of smoking. I know absolutely nothing about vapes besides the names of a few different ones. I heard some can combust your weed completely which I really do not want to happen. Can you guys tell me some good vapes for good prices? Not trying to spend crazy money here. Also if you could enlighten me on the topic a bit that would be nice.

    Thanks!

  3. I'd recommend the Arizer Solo. That was my first vape, don't regret it. It's the best portable and at home vape you can get IMO

  4. LOOKING FOR BEST VAPE TO USE WITH DRY HERB! (can do wax as well but primarily dry herb)

  5. Need to know what type you are in the market for...

If you are looking for a portable: Magic Flight Launch Box ($99) is a good beginner vape, many use it as their primary...Firefly or Pax ($250) both have chargers so no batteries to carry around like the launch box, both have their advantages and disadvantages...

If you are looking for a desk unit: Vapor Bros ($150) one of the original box whip style vapes, I have had one for about 4 years and it still works great....Also other whip vapes you can check out are Da Buddha, Silver Surfer, or the Arizer Extreme Q ($175) which can also do bags...

There is a lot to know about vaping so do some research on some of the above to give yourself a better idea of what you are looking for...I do not recommend spending less than $100 on a vape unless it is the Vapor Genie, but those use a lighter not electricity.

  6. Take a good look at this site. It has a lot of very useful information to help you make a good purchase.

    http://www.vape-nation.com/

  7. I second the solo. The mflb is another good one but can be difficult to learn PLUS you need a very fine grind . Check out the vaporizer section of the forums. There's a lot of great info on there. I've never vaped but I've researched a TON and plan to get a solo in the next month or 2. You can get the solo for $160 at puffitup.com which sounds like a great site..

  8. do it up man just dont buy any cheap chinese crap as it might give you health problems in the long term.

if you want desktop you could check out the SSV, Vapor Brothers, and theres a few more I cant think of atm.

I personally have a 4 year old vapor bros. love it connecting it to my bong and taking vaporbong hits. deff a solid machine.

  9.

I want a portable dry herb vape (if it does wax too that's a plus but primarily flower) and I prefer it to be like 100-160. If you know a good one for cheaper include that as well.

  10. Arizer or MFLB would be good portables

@lwien should chime in, he knows whats up

Arizer Solo mate. Best portable dry herb vape in my opinion. Should only be 120 to 160 depending on what sites you look at. Very durable, great quality vapor, easy to clean, long battery life.

  15. Only thing Pax on it is it is stealthier. Arizer Solo is better in every other way.

Never used the atmos raw, but it's a pen style vape right? Solo is superior.

  16. if anyone can lmk about the atmos raw please do so.

  17. yeah u can get a pax for 250 or a fake one for around $100 lol.. its harder to clean and cooks your herbs but does so while looking fantastic. the only thing you have to do to clean the solo is clean the glass stems with some alcohol. i was very surprised at how small the solo was. the atmos products advertise for dry herbs but they are really only good for waxes and oils..

It really depends on what you're lookin for and personal taste, and of course, we all want the most bang for the buck. I have literally spent years researching vapes in all shapes and sizes and here are my picks and why

If you're lookin for a port vape(not a penvape bc we all should know they don't make good ones for dry herb) then look no further than the arizer solo, you just simply can't go wrong with that one, for the price it exceeds all others in it's range, just know that no matter what kind of portable vape you buy, you will be restricted to the amount of herb you can put into the chamber. With that being said, let us discuss desktop vape rigs

For a desktop, which is always my personal choice, this all boils down to money bc there are tons of options out there. If you got the dough, look no further than the almighty volcano for a bag rig or the almighty vapexhale cloud with a sweet hydratube,of course. However, if you're an economical consumer such as myself, blowin over $500 on a vape is just flat out not an option. This is tricky, bc there are tons of cheaper desktops to choose from, sorting through them all takes time, but I found that as of right now, the arizer extreme q 4.0 is by far the best, comes with two bags, and a whip, so u have the best of both worlds, and for a far cheaper price. Do your homework well and u can swipe one of these bad boys for around $150 shipped. I personally own one myself and I've never regreted it, a simply amazing vape, and the ceramic heater core has a lifetime warranty. There are tons of vids and forums out there for you to do your own research on vapes, fuckcombustion.com is my goto site for anything vape related, so find out for yourself, a vape can be an expensive investment, but a wise one nonetheless

  19. If you can, get s volcano. You might even be able to find a used Classic Volcano model for ~300. It's the best for home use and lets you take huge hits with no draw resistance which is nice. esp if yu are used to bongs

  20. My arizer does all of this for a much cheaper price, has three fan settings, and unlike the volcano, my arizer has a whip so I can hook up my bong rig to it ;-) but by all means, if u got the money to blow then the volcano is a better choice if you just want a bag rig. Of course there will be tons of ppl here and everywhere else that will say, "buy the volcano, it's expensive but totally worth it" bc nobody wants to buy a $500 vape and feel they have been ripped off by not gettin an arizer, so to each their own lol
