Hello, little introduction.. I like cannabis, so I decided to grow it! =) So I just germed a Northern Lights Auto-Flower from CropKingSeeds and potted it. The soil is promix, sea soil compost, mushroom compost, perlite and some ewc. Very simple mix just to keep me appeased while my real mix is cooking for probably around 8 weeks. Two stacked bins, with two 4100k 23w CFLs for veg! You'll also notice my two pc fans aren't hooked up.. not sure what to splice it to so that I can plug it in.. Find an unwanted PC power supply and rig it up to power both your fans or any other 12V equipment you have. You will need to put a jumper in a certain spot. Follow the instructions here: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-power-up-an-ATX-Power-Supply-without-a-PC/
I also had the problem with the computer power supply and pc fans. Rigging the PSU is very straightforward and easy...my issue is that the PSU sits outside of my veg box which is okay since i need the space (my veg box is a PC case) but it's not good if you need stealth. I believe Newegg.com sells a 120V wall adapter which converts to 12V molex, and then you just need a molex-to-3pin adapter for your fan(s). The wall adapter is about $15 and the molex adapters are about $3 each. Hope that helps. Happy growing!
