Testing Plug In Light Sockets

Discussion in 'Lighting' started by Aristocat, Apr 13, 2014.

  1. I am testing out the plug in light sockets that can plug directly into a surge protector for heat and how safe it is. A lot of people use these for grow set ups. I am just making sure they are safe enough for my tastes.

Most of you will find this tiresome but there are ur few people who have already expressed worry about using this item.

If you have used this item please chime in!

Attached I a picture of the light socket and power strip...

  2. Here they are plugged in. I put two 32w CFLs (55k) and a 23w (27k).

I will run them for awhile to see how hot they get.
