Coming off the heels of a dramatic yet successful micro grow of feminized Northern Lights my next adventure now turns to an auto fem of Haze #2 by Dinafem. Over the coming posts I will outline the strain and the growing conditions. So, welcome and enjoy. Just wait to you see what is behind this door.
Thanks for visiting friends. Seed has been in soil for a day. I figure it will pop in a few days. I know the paper towel method is popular, it's just not for me. A simple law of mechanics; less moving parts lessen risk of failure. Seeds do fine starting in soil. Once a day I will sprinkle about an oz of ph balanced water and wait it out.
Notes on strain from breeder site. The strain needs lots of nutrients. A producing sativa with an incense aroma with hints of pine, wood and lemon. Flowering Time: 80 days. Expect flowering about the 22nd /23rd day of growth. Ideal lighting is 20 hours, tolerates down to 16 but with lesser yield.
Thanks watchers. Just doing the waiting game right now. Waiting for the soil break is always tough. In the mean time, one fl oz of water per day and wait for the miracle to unfold.
Yea I was lucky I barely spent a day waiting for my seed to sprout, it came unexpectedly, i mean i got the seed off this guy my friend knows at the park.
Bean met soil the evening of April 12 so today is the fifth day. You know how it goes. Just gotta wait. Tap root can take up to three days and actual shoot can take up to five days after that. For me, if I have not seen anything in ten days I will dig around to see what's up. Until then, patience which is against our nature but I have plenty of distractions.
Fair enough, im mew ta growing and mine only took a day to come up, only thing ive got to compare to it
Our patience has been rewarded with a touch of green having reached the surface. Has not uncurled yet but figure that will come overnight. So, less than a week, not bad.
will do Lava. While it is all I have ever known I really enjoy the challenge of micro growing. It took me months to dial this in and while I modify a bit occasionally, I think I finally have this right. The T5 lights are the latest addition and I am looking forward to seeing their impact.
