I bought a nice flat stone pipe but the hole in the bowl part is not on the bottom. It is on the side and its just a straight line all the way through the neck. When I pack my bowl it won't burn right because air is only able to go through a portion of the herb. I would use a screen but the bowl isn't deep enough. If I did I would literally only have less than an eighth of an inch deep area to put herb in. I know the majority of stone pipes are made this way but I cant figure out how it would be used correctly. If the hole would be on the bottom it would be perfect but of course its not. So how do you guys use them?
^^^Mmmkay So for those of you who use stone, do you just load it as it is? No type of screen whatsoever?
Everytime I've smoked out of stone or marble it had no screen , also. I remember smoking out a stone bowl with the hole inline . Just had to keep pushing it back towards the hole . Pain in d*ck Sent from your mom's phone.
