  1. Paraphernalia is not. Your baggie the weed is in can land you in jail

  2. thats not what happened. the law has been passed by lawmakers and the senate, and is awaiting signature. omalley has stated publicly he will sign the bill.

  3. i read a bit on norml... indeed will be as it says

  4. norml says small ammounts are still ticket/fine-able offenses but no jail.

  5. The forthcoming law reduces existing penalties for marijuana possession offenses involving ten grams or less from a criminal misdemeanor (presently punishable by arrest, up to 90 days in jail, a $500 fine, and a criminal record) to a non-arrestable, non-criminal fine-only offense ($100 fine for first-time offenders, $250 for second-time offenders).
The new law will take effect on October 1, 2014.

  6. Exactly, marijuana possession, not paraphernalia

  7. I've lived here my whole life and have known of plenty of occasions where they just break your piece if you don't have bud.. I highly doubt people will start being busted for paraphernalia, seeing that they would just break/take pieces in the past.. I know I feel much safer then I did this time last week, when I could have been locked up for a fucking stem or piece of burnt weed... im happy

  8. It doesn't take effect till Oct.1, you can still be arrested. It will be at the discretion of the cop, but just know that the wording allows you to be arrested for paraphernalia still
