Does vaping make you sneeze too?

  1. Does it? I don't know what it is but it's more of a tickle in the nose, rather than an allergy... Haha just curious... Anyone else?

  6. No, maybe you are getting vape in your nostrils?

  7. On the weekend with friends, we finished 1 bottle of wine and when we went on our second, my friend could not stop sneezing. I understand why it made her sneeze from the first sip, but we were all fine. It's just your nose that's sensitive to marijuana vapor I'd guess

  10. Salutations CaptainP,

Since last September or so i started to experience rafale sneezing, congested airways, watery eyes and irritated skin.  At first i suspected butane somehow but then i eventually eliminated it as a determining factor, by trying my luck with a V-Tower for about 3 weeks, exclusively.  Going back to electricity didn't feel like an improvement, but at the time i thought seasonal allergens and/or terpenes might be involved.  My intolerance signs became worst around Christmass, after a while i had the idea to switch to ABV (i don't like to extract it all:  i bake cookies instead)...  It worked to some extent so i explored mixes, as if i can't stand low-temperature vaporism of potent material - which is inconvenient because i like to appreciate aroma and taste!

    -_-

More recently i adopted a new ritual consisting of 1 or 2 pre-heat shots using a blue jet-flame, then i proceed as usual with the soft yellow one.  It's too soon to get to conclusions but i believe the torch removes something which is a trigger in presence of some real allergen or perhaps the problem is cannabis itself.  Well, i'm not too sure if it was a systematic coincidence but i vaguely recall having an ultrasonic humidifier around and it gets dirty if i fail to clean the unit frequently enough...  I've unplugged it a few days ago and it happens watery eyes didn't interfere with my daily activities lately, at least not as when my reaction was a lot more severe last week.  In addition cannabic cookies helped too because if i eat one for diner then there's no hurry to light up in the afternoon and i won't feel like having too many pipe bowls until the last call anyway.  If i do have an issue with the vaping method then i may want cookies to appear on my menu more regularily until i find a proper "Plan-A".

    ...

One possibility might be that cannabis itself ain't directly at fault while when in presence of an irritant it appears to cause problems to emerge past some intoxication threshold - a scenario i'd much prefer over the prospect of being allergic to cannabis, evidently!

So i have hope, there are challenging episodes but i had remissions before so i guess i may be onto something.  Hummm...  What's going on when i pre-heat the front ceramic filter on my modded VG pipe using a blue torch?...

    :confused_2:

Finally, my PVC extension tube + torch combination results in more water vapor condensation...

I wonder if this excess of moisture wouldn't actually correspond to yet another factor.  Either i should avoid irritation via higher power/temperatures somehow, either it could have to do with my cannabic stream being saturated by humidity during the first couple tokes or so.  After that it reminds me of the HerbalAire:  lots of coughing at 365 F while my lungs would gradually calm down as i pushed it to 385 F.

    Do i make any sense?

    Good day, have fun!

    :)

  11. Depends on the vaporizer. With my volcano I don't sneeze.
With my pax it happens sometimes.
With my old Vapir NO2 I did it all the time.

yep actually i have experienced sneezing from vaporizing.

i got some high quality lemon haze that had a pungent odor. it was dried well and vaporized beautifully. my vape was around 372 F and i loaded up prolly .3 into my whip. i hit it hard and coughed with my mouth closed, causing the vapor to stay up my sinuses. i had this need to sneeze feeling for like an hour before i let out this orgasmic sneeze that smelled like dank

  14. Lately I've been prone to sneezing, at least once when I'm vaping.

  15. Or yeah, it's a flower man. Get yourself some febreeze allergen reducer!

  17. You are not alone. Vaping makes me sneeze too, in fact I asked a question like this maybe a week ago but no one answered. Some vapes make me sneeze FAR more than others. For some reason the Extreme Q, Da Budha, and the Volcano all make me sneeze. The Valcano and the Extreme Q in bag mode make me sneeze A LOT. It isn't so much when I am vaping but later on in the day or the next day after heavy bag vaping and whip vaping I sneeze way more than normal. It doesn't happen to everyone but it happens to some of us. I don't know what causes it though and it isn't really all that big of deal so it doesn't keep me from using bag vapes, I just use the Underdog far more because I like that vape better, and is doesn't make sneeze as much. Vaping with any vape makes me sneeze more than normal but whip and bag vapes make sneeze the most.

  18. Odd. The Volcano and Extreme Q in bag mode make me sneeze like mad.

  19. Sounds like a dumb question, but are you exhaling through your nose by any chance? That can make your nasal passages tingly and itchy.
