Takes effect October 1st, O'Malley signed it! I am happy to hear greater concern for violent crimes. It is definitely a step in the right direction, in my opinion. However, there are a lot of details to be worked out in just a few months. I look forward to reading future news stories on the topic! Love when there is positive news
