Anyone else annoyed by the people who just have kids because its their right

  1. I dont have a problem with 2 stable people having a kid they can raise in a good environment, hell i dont care if they have plenty of kids,

but on the other hand i hate people who have kids because
1 theyre too stupid for birth control
2 think that having a kid is like some accessory
3 cant do anything else with themselves so decide to drag another life into it

i could go on more but itd be considered harsh

doesnt everyone know that overpopulation would cause poverty, disease and a standard of life bordering on hell, just look at the slums of india where they bath and clean in a river full of their own shit

china had the right idea with that 2 kids per family rule

  2. Population control is jusr as bad as genocide

  3.
    LOL.

  4. It often resembles it quite a bit too. Population control, infanticide and eugenics have been known to be virtually synonymous in the past.

  5. Are you kidding me? stopping people from having kids is like murdering them? no way

  6. One of the things i was thinking of is a bit cruel to some people, but i think we should only permit people to have kids if they actually have something to contribute to the gene pool

When i see a morbidly obese person with terrible skin, unhealthy etc all i can think is you wouldnt of survived in the wild so you werent supposed to have kids anyway, and im not just targeting types here im only saying the mentally, emotionally, and physically healthiest of us should have kids

I know how evil that sounds but think about it this way, you have an attractive person with good genes and an unattractive person with bad genes, they have kids that resemble them, and obviously the next generation will go for the most attractive mates and those left over will have the choice of being lonely or going with an unattractive person with bad genes, which will obviously lead to countless people born into this world with bad genes and bad lives

which is what i mean when only having the best people have kids because they will have a better standard of life and better contributions compared to the sick people with bad genes

  7. A population with no natural predator will reach that point when some form of population control is necessary, assuming there's no major wars (like really huge) or natural disaster that fucks a fat chunk of us off the planet. Only so much room for everyone. Population control sounds cruel, and many methods are, but it could become necessary at some point, though likely not for a while.

    Cue neo-malthusianism.

But seriously, you know how you curb population growth? Increase the standard of living.

Many poor women on welfare in the U.S. are taught/told by the older generation of welfare recipients to have as many kids as possible, no matter what your marital status/relationship status, because the more kids you have, the more money you qualify to get from the government, not to mention child support

If the U.S. government stopped giving money away to people just for having kids, people might stop having so many kids, making it a less populated country. If you're wanting to have a kid, you should be in a situation to have a kid, not be living in a small apartment, single, with 3 other kids running around while you're already pregnant with the 4th

  10. I know a girl who was like 20, had no job and had a baby with her boyfriend. Baby was born and the daddy left the picture. 5 months later she's pregnant again, but with a different boyfriend. I think he works at mcdonalds or something.

I am 23, but going to wait until I have a career where I can support a wife (in case something happens where she's not working), two kids and a dog. Maybe late 20s/early 30s.

This is such a bizarre form of neo-conservatism.

  12. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's disgusting to waste a human life like that. I can confirm what IFourTwenty said, been in peoples houses in Detroit for cable and literally heard these conversations. There are too many people in this world.

Exactly, population control does sound cruel but it is even more cruel to let people fuck and give birth repeatedly until there are millions of us running around without a place in the world scavenging for whatever we can get, all because some assholes didnt want to fuck with a condom

    Whatever you say champ

  14. Antinatalism is my stance on this issue.  It's inhumane to bring human life into the world.

  15. Interesting, i came here to say that it is and now not so much but i don't think population control is the way to go.

  16. Yea. Until telling people they arent allowed to have kids because they are religious or black happens

  17. Also survival of the fittest.

Id rather give people a chance to starve than tell them they arent even allowed to be born

  18.
You can't tell somebody that they're not allowed to be born, if they don't exist in the first place.

  19.
If I had this view, I would kill myself

  20. I think it all depends on the person, My mom was 14 when she got pregnant with me, she was on a really bad path in her early teens, and having such a large responsibility straightened her out.

on the flip side of that, my cousin had her first kid at 19, when she got her tax return that year the first thing she said was "wow i need to have another kid!! Thats alot of money!"

Then there is me...... I had my son at 24, im a stay at home mom, my husband works a desk job, average middle class american family. One and done.... no more kids :p
