Hey guys, Could someone please explain the purpose of flushing at the end of the flower cycle, why you have to do it and can you you get away without flushing? Thanks
The purpose of flushing is to wash out all the built up salts from bottled nutrients. Organic growers don't flush, no need to.
Aaaaah thank you!!! I was really worried that I'd worked so hard to get my vegan mix right I'd end up ruining it if all nutrients were flushed but I kept seeing loads of people 'flushing'. Thanks bro
Unless I have a problem, I don't bother flushing anymore. I've yet to tell the difference between doing it and not doing it. Same with lights off before harvesting. I've yet to find anything discernable in that process either.
