Marijuana should stay ILLEGAL

Discussion in 'Marijuana Legalization' started by Mr. President, Apr 4, 2014.

  1. Definitely not.. this is the only way for me to get your attention. But seriously what's the big deal? What do they think is going to happen? Nothing is going to change.... people already smoke pot. Legal or not, it cannot be stopped. In fact if anything changes at all from legalizing it, I bet it won't even have anything to do with cannabis. The taxes they could collect as a Nation would probably pay off the nations debt in a lifetime. Or it could go to schools, (but most likely to even more illegal NSA activity and spy drones) but that's a different thread lol

I think the worst thing i've heard about Weed was the killing of brain cells. Did you know the study that was done was on monkeys? They put gas masks on them and pumped the equivalent of something like 190 joins into their lungs. And some of them died! Well what the reporter on the news doesn't tell you is that your brain starts lose braincells after 4 minutes without oxygen. These monkeys were suffocated.

Harvard studies have shown nothing but benefits to the body. Its a brain STIMULANT and has proven to CREATE brain cells. The smoke? Its not radiated. Which means you CANNOT get cancer from the smoke. I don't think inhaling smoke is good at all but that doesn't mean you can't eat it. Addictive? Diet coke is addictive. You can be addicted to anything. Too much pot... not good. Too much coffee.... even worse! My point? Too much of anything is never good. But that's all they have?

That's just fuel for recreational users. Medicinal? Come on, why waste my time? The cell structure of CBD is almost identical to the cannabinoids in our brains. It's an anti-inflametory, and for Christ's sake its all natural! I'm sick of politicians saying during interviews that they have yet to hear one medicinal property of Cannabis.... ummm how about.... the entire process? Gardening in itself is medicinal lol from growing, to using. Cannabis has been used as medicine for years and years before it was illegal. The queen of England was said to have used it for Menstrual cramps. People who have cancer tumors that smoke pot have all shared their stories. Every single one. And they all say the same thing! Their tumors shrank!

Not to mention its a bio-diesel fuel.
Or that its fibers are the strongest on this planet. Imagine buying a shirt that never wore out? lol
Hemp oil is also good for your skin.
Think of all the trees that we WOULDN'T be cutting down to make paper?

Which brings me to this next one... lol i thought it was funny.

Did you know the Declaration of Independence was written on Hemp paper?

See and we act stupid... like we think they don't know this. Let me stimulate your brain a little more. If they know about the true properties of marijuana and they will STILL spend millions of dollars on trying to crack down on people that use.... what else are they lying about? If you were the supplier and there's a demand, why would you legalize something that would nearly cut the billion dollar pharmaceutical company into a fraction of what it is today? Think about that.

Its all about money. And it always has been. What else are they leading you to believe for the purpose of their wallets?

    Thanks for your time.

  2. Why so thousands of people cant get the medicine they need.  It defiantly should be legal, for the sake of everyones well being.

  3. Don't be preaching about it here! Preach it to the prohibitionists! Those are the people that need to hear all this info! But yes it should definitely be legal and should be regulated the RIGHT way. Not the way it's being done now

  4. Damn, for a second I was about to sit back and enjoy the rage...

  5. it should be decriminalized and let at that, no regulation, no taxes no bull shit, but hey we're getting somewhere. just part of a bigger picture, you know the 1%ers and all wanting to control everyone and everything but it's changing so it's all good.

lol at the raging, figured i would see that as well.

  6. What do you suggest I could be doing? Is there like an anti-cannabis forum?

I'm being serious. I just wanted to rant, but I agree. You all know already lol

I totally want to be apart of the movement but I truthfully do not know where to begin...

  7. I thought it was already decriminalized? As far as regulation and taxes... I haven't really thought about this enough to decide which way I want to lean. Even if its regulated and taxed it's not like the "black market" wouldn't benefit. They interviewed a kid in Colorado that sold behind closed doors and he was telling people how his profits have skyrocketed because no one wants to buy the taxed stuff at $85/ and eighth lol

Its a plant. Look at tomatoes. You can buy them... or grow them... I personally have the where with all to be able to grow and start a business but money isn't what i'm after. I just want to be able to grow my own stuff... and smoke my own stuff. If they dropped the pot and just said "Do whatever you want....."

That's what i'm after. They don't have to do ANYTHING. Same regulations as opening up a shoe store or whatever. You wanna sell it, pay Uncle Sam. I'd be happy.

  8.
yeah that's where i'm coming from as well, decriminalize is not the same as legalize and regulate. decrim would and should make it like any other plant we grow, legalize and regulate is just another way to control us, but like i said it's a good start and i have a feeling it will only be the beginning of taking back our freedoms, in time my friend, in time.

  9.
start with local government and also state and federal government, let them know you want this and you will only vote in that direction, even though you may not vote it doesn't matter, the more people that constantly complain to their legislators the faster it will change.

  10. How dare you betray my trust with a deceiving title

    Stay Thirsty

  11. Huh? Sorry. I've been hooked on CNN for a month as they avoid everything in the world except a lost plane. That is all that matters, comrades. The plane! The plane! Watch obediently! Never mind the energy war around the Black Sea.

  12. if it should stay illegal why is there a patent on cannabis neuroprotective properties, while it stays illegal. yep, lot uh truth goin on there.

  13. It's a big market.. it's less harmful than cigarettes or alcohol, and if it was taxed the money could be used to refine America's education system, which I believe would also lessen organized crime. but hell, I doubt they'd use the tax in a smart way. If they were smart marijuana would all ready be legal.

  14. Fort hood. The new distraction.

  15. Nah. Ongoing media assault to push for stripping more rights in that realm. Anyone who gets shot and doesn't live in the ghetto makes headlines.

  16. hahahaha

  18. It should definitely be LEGAL, the illegality of marijuana just causes an incredible hemorrhage of wasted resources, not to mention the many lives that get ruined because of it. The question of legality is not at stake, we think that the issue is how we go about it. Medical Marijuana should be accessible to anyone who needs it! If a person's lives can be improved there is not reason to ban it for medical uses. It's time we get a more open outlook on substances...
In the case of recreational marijuana, it should be treated just like other legal recreational substances. But these extremely heavy taxes and conditions only give legalization a bad rep, which in the end only stall it even more.
In time, we hope to see fairer regulations.
