  5. 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 is totally my dream car ❤

  6. ayy my first car was a 91 cutlass supreme.

my granddad worked in the oldsmobile factory where they made most of their cars in lansing, mi (where I grew up).  So I'll always have some love for em.  downtown there's a museum of old oldsmobiles, they have about every model you could think of.  it's a pretty cool place.

  7. also known as the Hosemobile

  8. My first car was a 1998 Intrigue, bought it in 2005 and it lasted me up through January of this year.. considering how bad I am at maintenance, it lasted a nice long time. 165,000 miles

  9. Wow that's it?^^
my rotary engine has 168k stock never rebuilt and still has amazing compression.

insane that a piston engine car from 98 only made it to 165k
You must have mixed some sand in with your oil llol

  10. Yea thats pretty bad... My 90 Townie had 258K and would still smoke the tires with ease. :confused_2:
I only got rid of it because of the rust, and the trans finally gave out after I used it to tow like 3500lbs 300 miles over mountains n chit :metal:
I beat that car like crazy every day too. Drove it for another 2 months with it acting up until it finally gave up 4th gear. And of course I only had
    P R N (D) 2 1
and (D) was my 3rd AND 4th, so I either had to keep my foot buried to keep it in 3rd while in (D),  which would have me doing like 75 in no time  , or put it in 2nd, which was only good to like 45 with out putting the tach out to like 4K.
So I had to choose whether or not to put a trans into a 1990 with 258 and a LOT of rust.
    I miss this old beast.....

  11. had a '94 Aurora with only 70,000 miles. it drove awesome for a while and then something went wrong causing the rpms to shoot up while the car just drifted along. spent $3,000 trying to fix it and then sold it to a friends grandfather. he got it fixed for another grand or two. that V8 was awesome! I miss it lol only downside was the rear passenger window didnt work.

  12. Really, the only Oldsmobile I've really liked are the old 442's.

  13. My father had an 02 aurora he would let me drive every now and than. For an old man car, that things speed would leave you breathless.
