Thanks Loki! Another question.. At first, I was planning on getting a carbon filter x fan combo, with an 30 dollar exhaust from htg supply. The setup would've been on the left the carbon filter fan would've been blowing air through the 600 hps and on the right side it would be connected to the exhaust blowing all the air out.. Now I'm thinking why not forget the exhaust and take the fan that comes with the carbon filter and have that be the exhaust while still connected to the light. Would this work? Sorry for the noob questions m8. I'm doing a passive intake btw. Some more info is it's gonna be a 32x32x63 tent, 600 watt light, planning on doing 6 auto flowers. It will work to cool ur light but it wont work your cf as it would draw air around the bulb not through the cf. Unless you have a cf you can attach the fan at one end and the light at the other. (iv neva seen one) Sent from my GT-S5830i using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I'll keep that in mind next time if I start from scratch. This time I modified the soil from the Easy Organic Soil Mix for Beginners thread based on what I had on hand. That was seed starting mix (peat moss, vermiculite, ph adjusted, 20 days seedling nutes), EWC, inoculated (Actinomyces) crab meal, kelp meal, neem meal, perlite, and azomite. Plant was started in the seedling mix only, then when potted up to the 1 gal, I made the above mix and called it good. No need to cookthe soil (well it actually sat for like 3 days before I got around to using it, and by that time there was already whispy white fuzz growing on top) at all b/c the base already has immediately available nutrition for use while the microbes are breaking everything else down, at least that is how I look at it. So far so good. I have fermented kelp extract on hand I might supplement with, but so far have only been using carbon filtered tap water.

you can buy inline carbon filters but i dont think there as good not sure But if ya got 2 fans id go cf, fan, cool tube, duct and second in line fan. You need to bend the top of the plant horizontal or lower to encourage the plants auxins to travell down and create new tops. It isn't just about letting light down. Bend it right down. Chef.
