Random White Lines in veins

  1. I'm not sure if this is a pest, but I am a week into flower, so i sprayed neem while i still can. I'm not too worried, this is just a learning experience. Therefore, I'd really like to know what this is just for the knowledge.

  2. They look like little specks of hard water that collected in the valley of the vein. Does the "damage" go all the way through it just on top?

  3. It was just on top of the leaf, no damage through.. I can't see them anymore after my neem application last night. It's kinda weird though, I use distilled water, I'm not sure if it would get hard? Also, my leaves are all shiny from neem. Do I need to do a water foilar spray now to get the neem off? Or does that defeat the purpose? I was thinking wait until my last neem application to start and try and rinse the plant of the oil resin. Can you spray water on a plant in early flower?

Plain distilled water shouldn't have any minerals in it, so hard water spots wouldn't be it unless your spray bottle has been used for regular water before. Some companies say things like "Distilled drinking water, minerals added for taste" so look for that. It could just be specks of lint or dust?

I haven't used neem as a foliage spray so I don't know how long before harvest you have to stop using it. There's a bunch of info around that should answer your questions. If I remember correctly, you want to wash the neem off a few hours after you spray it on, but it's better to search for an answer or maybe someone that knows way more than me will chime in.

Sure you can spray a plant with water for a long time, and some people use organics pretty close to harvest, just make sure it drys out pretty fast so that mold doesn't set in.
