It looks like the longest day we have here is around 15 hours of light...so should I just run my lights 15-9 before I move them outside ? I was basically going to grow them inside until about the longest day for light outside then transplant outside.... Thanks, SC
I would try to mimic the outside light schedule and environment as closely as you can. Less stress to the plant when you transplant.
Yeah every area wil be slightly different so just match ur light as closely to outdoors but give them abit extra to maintain veg hence 15/9, or 16/8 being ur best bet for most places. Im in Nor Cal.
yeah as RD said, the rule is check outdoors and add 1 or 2 extra (so if it's 14 outdoors when they go out, do 16/8 indoors).
