I am getting tired of all this politically "correct" bullshit. Everything is sexist, everything is racist, waah waaah social justice. I am tired of these people constantly trying to foist their ideas on others and if you don't agree with them then to them you must be some horrible person

  2. OMG, it's a Glen Beck hootenanny today on GC.

    id ban this song...

  4. Do you find poptart guns to be a threat?

  5.
No, but I do find all the right wing outrage highlarious!

  6. Your not outraged that kids are being suspended from school and sometimes even arrested for shit like this?

  7.
I prefer students not be imbued with gun culture, especially when eating a pop tart.  Pop tarts should be gun free zones.

how is it right-wing to disagree with this ridiculous "ban bossy" campaign?

anyone regardless of political affiliation should find the whole notion absolutely ridiculous.

just out of curiosity.. do you think it's ok to call a woman bossy, if she's being bossy?

like flawless said.. when i was being "bossy" at work, they'd usually just call me an asshole behind my back..

Kinda like when girls are being outperformed in certain areas by boys in school...
It's obviously all due to sexism and that damn Pay-Tree-Are-Key!
The girls are being targeted and held down!

Yet when they are ahead of the boys in an area... well they're just naturally more intelligent in that field and those who are falling behind are swept under the rug cuz its not teh seximZ

Pretending to be a victim all the time must get exhausting.
And you look stupid as fuck.

    Take that for "bossy"

  12. I have 3 lady managers at my work and 2 guys. One lady manager is an asshole and yells at us to communicate. So does another one of the guys: they are bossy assholes who get off on power. The others are nice and just request we do things, which we are usually already doing or about to do because, well ,we know our god damn jobs.

Litterally when the asshole lady manages us it takes us longer to get shit done. when its one of the nice ladies we get done much quicker and she doesn't even say anything to us most of the time. The asshole lady stands around and micro manages us, making us all pissed off and also using up time by having to listen to her stupid suggestions. Literally, in the course of three days she gave me contradictory advice on a certain issue, only to contradict her last ruling again the next week. She just bitches to bitch. The other managers are actually interested in helping out, she is just wants to look good on paper for her boss and won't take stands for the workers when we are getting shafted.

This feel-good-fascism needs to end now. We can't continue to neuter our language, our actions, our thoughts, all to support these collective agendas that are created by think-tanks which are funded by supranational banking families who dominate global industry and commerce. It should be pretty easy to spot and avoid by now - these movements use cheesy catch-phrases/slogans, use healthy-looking multiracial individuals for photos (usually groups too), have minimalistic webpages with interactive layouts, often dip funds into unions and other think-tanks, use poster-child senators and teachers as figureheads, and when they do release a commercial you can be damn sure there's gonna be ukelele music in the background. This is classic, using something that appears to be friendly and universally beneficial to entice people into a campaign that achieves absolutely nothing except for funding non-profits and making our society a little bit more controlled/restricted (if not by legislation then by societal norms). This shit is really getting old, is it not guys?

Edit: oh and btw, another classic trademark of the progressive thought-control movement, instead of just simply encouraging females to be better leaders we have to simultaneously use a negative - "banning" a word because we don't like how it makes people feel. Instead of making 'victims' into competent and stable people we will just further restrict our societal vocabulary to avoid hurting people's feelings... Is that fucking progress? Can't people see we are chipping away at our individual freedom and potential of expression by embracing all these BS collective 'campaigns'?

Edit: Also, by "banning" the word 'bossy' aren't you reinforcing its negative connotations and further stigmatizing leadership types? Aren't you just giving into the negativity? Instead of saying that being 'bossy' is actually acceptable and even preferable in certain circumstances you are making the word itself out to be a scapegoat. This is the flimsiest approach possible. Next we can just ban the word 'hate'. Of course, this won't actually effect any change in society......

  14. i'm tired of all these soft fucks calling foul over everything little thing. they complain to feel relevant and its pretty pathetic. bossy isnt even that bad, its what we called each other in 2nd grade before being brave enough to say bitch. this new fad of being overly sensitive about everything is weak as hell and i hope it dies out real soon. in my experience nothing good comes from people who were babied and spoon fed their whole lives anyways, not everyone is a winner in the real world.

    How do you ban anything?

If there is a demand, there will be a supply, legal or not.

The fact that so many grown adults cant see this is sad and frustrating.

This has nothing to do with politics, and everything to do with the culture of modern parenthood, and schools reacting to it.

No, a poptart gun is not a physical threat. The fact that you try to spin it that way, is really far out of touch with reality.

In a classroom full of 6 year olds a silly poptart gun can become a big, escalated ordeal.

Little Bobby chews his poptart into a gun, and pew, pew, pew.  Sally doesn't understand why HE gets to play with his food, and she can't!  Murray can't understand why HE can't play with his toy gun in school, while bobby can!  You're not going to reason with a bunch of 6 year olds that Bobby is just playing with a poptart gun, and they should go back to snack time.

Tantrums ensue.  #1 reason not to allow a class of 20 kids to play with their food.

But then, little Murray runs home and cries to his parents.  His parents can't let their precious little snowflake be the victim of discrimination!  They run to the school... and more tantrums ensue.  They go to the media!

Schools just ban that shit all together.

I've seen versions of this play out hundreds of times throughout my son's 10 years of going to public school.  And conservative parents are just as guilty as liberals.
