Efficiency of Pax Vaporizer

  1. So I'm looking into the Pax by ploom to buy as a portable vape, cause my pens suck and my vapir isn't very portable. It looks awesome and people say it gets them high, but my brother in college says that his friend has the pax and lets him borrow it, and he said that a bowl doesn't get him high from the pax. We both have around the same tolerance, we smoke like three times a day and up which is pretty bad, but just want to know if the Pax is worth it, thanks.

  2. In regards to efficiency, the Pax will burn through more herb than most portables simply because it works on conduction and is constantly cooking your herbs until you turn it off.   There are other portables that will only apply heat when you are inhaling from them, making them much more efficient.

  3. I own one and have a pretty high tolerance as well smoking/vaping a few times a day usually... lwien is correct, it isn't the most efficient vape since it is conduction, but having said that a full oven definitely still gets me pretty ripped...If you are using quality cannabis, one oven should definitely do the job for you, even with a higher tolerance.
