Just curious and would love to hear if you can and the type of student you are ( A,B,C). Also what kind of subjects do you study? Do you find yourself unable to study certain topics? For Example: I like to study high it helps me not get so annoyed and keep focused on what needs to be done, my schoolwork. I don't get high for lecture but for anything at home I always toke. I'm an A student and currently taking organic chemistry, cell biology, and interpersonal communications (awesome class). I do really good with science while high but I can't study for math at all while high. When I study for science it is fucking crazy how interesting shit gets when I'm high. Anyone else want to share?
I made all A's these last 2 semesters and I smoke every day. I had to stop the beginning of last semester, but still, this semester I've had all A's as well. I didn't use to be able to a few years ago. I think as I matured, so did my high. It really makes everything much more interesting, including school/homework. When I was younger I was very impatient and always had to be doing something while I did my homework, but cannabis has totally mellowed that side of myself and has made it easier to breath while studying.
Depends on the subject. Mech is boring and dry. But my Quantum mechanics class got so much more interesting.
I've smoked daily for pretty much my entire college experience. I study high often, and always write papers high. I've actually been complimented by several professors about my writing skills and interesting topics, so that always feels good. I go to class sober though. I used to go high somewhat often but it became to hard to concentrate at times. Once before a psychology midterm I smoked 3 bowls back to back with this girl I had class with. Probably the highest i've ever been during class. I literally starred at the test and flipped through the pages for 10 minutes. Pulled it together quickly though and ended up getting a C+ on the exam, and a B in the class overall.
I only go to my afternoon classes high, mostly because if i wake n bake im too tired and zoned out to listen. But as for studying i dont really need to. No gen eds this semester and my programming classes never have tests. I do crack a book open if im having trouble with a concept. But i am usually sober then.
Not a fan of studying high. It just doesn't stick in my brain like if I'm sober. Got a 3.9 last semester. Only failed 1 calc test I studied high for and aced the rest
I can't. Never have been. I don't do anything school associated when I'm high. I balance my work and getting high at different times. I sometimes used to smoke a bowl before I wrote my english papers, I felt like my mind flowed more freely. I wouldn't get too high, just smoke a small bowl so that I felt calm and mellow.
I toke before most of my classes, and I kinda have to get baked to do my homework or else I just don't want to ever, can't focus on it if I'm not, so many other things I could be doing, nomsain? I'm going for a degree in networking security though, so... Makes computers fun again Unfortunately just told my only connect right now that I won't be texting her again, thanks to the last bag she sold me that seemed like it was half full of stems... Sucks too, she was my main girl for a while cause when I met her she had good shit, but lately all her product is... well, crap. So, we'll see: Will my grades drop, or will they rise? Haha. I guess they can't really rise much since I have all As right now... but finals are coming up.. we'll see.
I couldn't do it either last year. I too agree about the as I matured so did my high. Interesting o.o
Damn if only you were by me we keep it flame on mpls But yea to much shit to do other than homework but when you get high and open your books, you can just focus better without getting bored.
I study high all the time and it works well for me, currently studying History (Mythology) English and Philosophy, as well as the overall course of Education (studying to become a teacher). One of the craziest days of my week is Thursday when I go to my Philosophy tutorial high and get into epic debates about the possibility of time travel and other crazy theories, shit is intense.
Wow. Exactly the same man. I am in 6 classes and have 3 A's and 3 B's. If I was on a 10 point grading scale, I would have only 1 B. Lol oh well. A few more points! Anyways yeah I am taking Gen Chem II, Gen Bio I, American Lit II, Programming, American Gov't and some bullshit 1 credit required class (way too much work for a 1 credit class). They are all face to face except Gov't. I smoke before most lectures, especially if there is a test. I study while blazed and like you said, the concepts connect so much easier in my head I can visualize this shit so well (on a molecular level now!) that I only have to read the sections and chapters once before I can do all the sample exercises lol. If I'm sober I'll get distracted especially by the Internet and I'll have to reread everything before I get it. It gets mad interesting though you right. Most of my Internet distractions are directly related to something I'm reading in my books lol.
