Should I stop eating fast food?

Discussion in 'Fitness, Health & Nutrition' started by xHighImStoned, Mar 30, 2014.

  1. Im not overweight nor do I have ANY health problems. I have an extremely fast metabolism (only 18) and I mean fast food doesn't really effect me much "weight wise" but we all know its bad and loaded with more fat than nutritional value. On top of this I'm drug tested every 2 weeks and I smoke once within those 2 weeks & always pass with loads of water. I started working out again as well. Would not eating fast food be a good idea for me or would it not have much of an effect? Also, since THC is stored in fat..though i Don't have much do you think it could help pass a (urine) test faster?I'm 5'6, 150lbs. I know, really small.

  2. Yes it's always a good idea to not eat processed bulshit . Eat earth grown veggies and grass fed beef. Hit up your local farmers market. What you eat affects every aspect of you. You will feel better physically and mentally when your body has good food put into it

  3. Thanks. Anyone else?

  4. If you are getting tested that often is it worth smoking?

  5. You know the answer but you cant accept it. You're a fast-food addict just like most everyone else. It's not your fault, you are nothing more than a product of your environment.

You are an adult now and its time to start making good choices NOW. I emphasize now because how you treat your body now will determine how well it will treat you in the future.

  6. i dont think its bad to eat fast food every once in awhile, but if you're eating it regularly its really not good for you at all, even if you are an overall healthy person.

  7. 18 is a pretty invincible age, generally speaking.  Enjoy your bacon sandwhiches for another couple years, then start eating like an adult.

  8. I think about this sometimes, but it's only for the next 4 months until I move out. I enjoy the herb too so it's nice to look forward to those days, though they are sparingly

  9. You say you have no health problems, but I bet you would feel even better without the fast food.

Everyone should stop eating fast food.

But lets face it. Being able to get premade food on your way to work is super convenient. So it will never end

  13. Just mix a bowl of crisco shortening to a pound of sugar. Mix well and digest completely.

  14. This question can only be answered by you lol. Do your research.
Find out what ingredients are in your favourite foods (whether its fast food or home cooked) and then look up what the ingredients are made of or come from. You'll very quickly decide whether or not you want to put Ammonia in your body in the form of a McChicken.

  15. Does a bear shit in the woods? :D

  16. Yes, you absolutely should! Giving up fast food, soda & any other processed junk food was the greatest choice I ever made.
You should stop eating bad & unhealthy foods when you're younger anyways. You may not notice it effecting your health or body now, but if you keep eating fast food it'll take a toll on your health eventually.

well, if you want to live another 10 - 20 years without any health problems and good metabolism you should develop some healthy habits and the sooner the better. i mean what's your plan? wake up when you are 30 and say today i only eat salads! ?

Fast food would be perfectly fine if not for the fact that its got an insaaaaane amount of salt in it, you should limit yourself to that shit every once in awhile and not regularly.

  19. One should always endeavour to eat as healthy as possible, for the numerous health benefits. But really it depends on how much you actually care what goes into your body lol. At your current age your body is more forgiving of bad foods, but also reacts better to healthier foods.

You will find that if you cut out fat at this age you will have six pack abs in no time. Whereas in 5-6 years time you will actually have to exercise to get said physique.
