Fig tree issue, need advice/help.

  1. So my wife and I have started a garden outdoors because I have started loving growing so much thanks to pot.  So far the plants look pretty solid but we have this fig tree.  Its in a seperate container and has gone through hell in back LITERALLY!   Completely went dormant for probably 6 months after basically dying from these small black dots on the leaves.  Dogs chewing on the dead branches to itch their gums for about a month here and there. and now it somehow this decided to grow back some new leaves and is honestly kicking butt besides the fact I am seeing the black dots begin to come back on the lower leaves faintly.

I google for fig leaf issues and find really nothing.  If I were to guess I'd say it would be a calcium def? since cannabis gets dotted leaves when it happens?

    Just for more info
its been in a self fertilized MG potting soil (wife did this a year ago before we got into organics)  They still have the green fertilizer beads so we don't touch it with anything but water.
About a 5 gallon cotainer, some added perlite.
    Outdoors.

    Any ideas welcome!

  2. Can you post a picture of the issue that you're talking about, please?
It'll be easier to help you, if we can see the issue that you're describing.

Are you planning on changing the soil soon?
Just curious, as I know that many people have issues with various plants / trees when using MG potting soils.

    Good luck!
    Doin'

  3. I will try to take pictures tomorrow morning.
